Step 1

Start by making our sesame ginger dressing in a mason jar or a bowl to combine. In our jar add sesame oil, olive oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, maple syrup, ginger, and salt and pepper. Shake for 20 seconds or until dressing is completely combined.

Step 2

Get a small pot of water boiling to blanch green beans and carrots. We will start with green beans and cook for 1-2 minutes until tender. Transfer to an ice bath(water+ice) to stop the beans from cooking. Repeat this process with julienned carrots until tender and transfer into the same water bath with green beans. Jullien our red cabbage and mix in our carrots and green beans to be dressed with ginger dressing before serving.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl add cilantro, green onion, lime juice, lime zest, orange juice, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, honey, green beans, avocado, jalapeno, and ginger. Mix well and place into refrigerator until we cook our Ahi.

Step 4

Salt and pepper on both sides of our Ahi Tuna. In a cast-iron pan start heating up some sesame oil to sear, we are going to sear each side for 1 minute each depending on how thick our Tuna pieces are.

Step 5

On your plate pour some of our Asian avocado salsa on the bottom. Take our thinly sliced Ahi Tuna on top and another scoop of our salsa on top. Mix our veggie salad with our sesame ginger dressing

Step 6

Enjoy!
