Step 1
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat.
Step 2
Sprinkle the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and brown them in the heated skillet on both sides.
Step 3
Transfer the chicken to the slow cooker.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ketchup and 1 Tablespoon of the sesame seeds.
Step 5
Pour the sauce over the chicken.
Step 6
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 4-6 hours.
Step 7
Serve over rice with remaining 1 Tablespoon of sesame seeds on top.
