Step 1

Paneer patty recipe - In a bowl, take 2 cups of grated paneer, 1 cup boiled mashed potato, 2 tbsp finely chopped onion, 1/2 cup grated carrot, 2 tbsp chopped coriander, 2 finely chopped green chillies, 1/2 tsp ginger paste, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp aamchur powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, salt to taste and 2 tbsp corn flour. Combine well and form a soft dough.In another bowl, take 1/4 cup corn flour, 2 tbsp maida, 1/4 tsp crushed black pepper, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 cup of water and mix well. Make sure that there are no lumps.In another bowl, prepare bread crumbs. We have used oats powder.

Step 2

Take a ball sized quantity of the dough, flatten it and shape the ends to prepare a patty according to the size of your burger bun. Dip it into the maida paste and then cover it with a layer of bread crumbs. Shallow fry these in hot oil. Fry both sides and make them golden and crisp.

Burger mayonnaise recipe - In a bowl take mayonnaise and combine it with some tomato ketchup. Mix well.

Step 5

Burger assembly method - Cut the burger bun into two and apply butter on all 4 sides and heat on a pan. Turn of the gas and apply a coat of burger mayonnaise on both the sides of the bun. Place a lettuce leaf on the lower bun and on it place a patty. Apply some burger mayonnaise on the top side of the patty and place a cheese slice over it. Place 2 slices of onion and tomato each and cover the burger with the upper bun.
