This is a wonderfully delicious recipe that I have made for decades...passed down from nana to mom and then me. Lemon juice and mustard are also great mixed with mayo for potato salad...FYI.

This was very good and very easy to make! I will definitely make this again.

I made this for lunch today, after Easter I had some extra hard boiled eggs. It was great! It was simple and I loved what the lemon juice did it. Will definitely make again! Thanks for sharing!

Love this simple and very tasty recipe. Only thing I did different is I doubled the recipe, and added 1 tablespoon of pickle relish for my sweetness.

This is a very good egg salad. The only thing I did differently was to add a little granulated sugar to it because my family likes their egg salad to have some sweetness to it.

The only change I made was using chives rather than green onions because it’s what I had on hand.  Really tasty egg salad!

I increased the hard boiled eggs to six, so increased the other ingredients accordingly.  Love the fresh addition of lemon juice to this egg salad!  And especially loved the green onions!  I\'m usually a purist when it comes to egg salad, but this is how I\'ll make mine from now on.  A definite keeper!

I liked this recipe but wouldn't call it zippy at all! I used Miracle Whip, extra mustard, and put pickles on the sandwich and still wanted more tang. I also added chopped celery and regular onion because I didn't have green onion. Next time, I will add some horseradish. Finally, I don't think this recipe makes 2 servings. I had to triple it to make enough for my husband and myself. He is a big eater but even with tripling it, we didn't have much leftover. All in all, its good but not at all zippy!

I doubled the recipe. I didn't have lemon juice and it was still excellent! This will be my only go to recipe for egg salad.

I've been looking for a good basic egg salad sandwich recipe. It's surprising how hard it is to find one that doesn't taste a little off. This one fits the bill.

This recipe is delicious as written- like deviled eggs chopped and spread on bread. The second time I made this, I added chopped celery and some sweet pickle relish - oh my! With these additional ingredients this has become my go-to egg salad recipe. In the summer when tomatoes are at their peak, I add them, otherwise I omit them. I am not a fan of egg salad but I LOVE this recipe!  I only eat farm fresh eggs not store bought.  Makes this recipe eggcellent!

Great egg salad. It's like eating deviled eggs in a bowl. We really enjoyed it.

This is good As written. The second time I made this I added celery seed and dill weed. I also used Red onion because I didn’t have green. I tripled the recipe and served it to the family with a side of tomato basil soup for a quick dinner. Everyone approved.

Quick, easy, yummy. I didn't add the onions because I'm not a fan. Next time I will use celery instead. Perfect way to use leftover Easter eggs. I didn't have to add any salt or pepper, but that's my personal preference.

I made this using fresh eggs from our 4 yard hens. Instead of mayo I omitted the vinegar, used 1/2 the lemon juice and used Miracle whip. So good on home baked bread.

Increased amounts for fellowship buffet. The lemon juice is the zippy ingredient; just a little remaining in serving dish. Quite good & I'll make it again.
