Making perfectly roasted broccoli in your air fryer couldn&#x27;t be easier.  All you need is a few simple ingredients and it&#x27;s ready in less than 15 minutes.  Air fryer broccoli is fork tender with irresistibly crispy edges.  Keep it simple with basic roasted broccoli or make the super flavourful garlic parmesan version.  

Air Fryer Broccoli {Two Ways}

Broccoli head, cut into bite-sized florets

tbsp Olive Oil

Salt & Pepper,

Garlic Cloves, minced

tsp Chilli Flakes

Lemon

tbsp Parmesan Cheese, finely grated (or more to taste)

If you're making the basic broccoli - place...

If you're making the basic broccoli - place olive oil and broccoli florets into a mixing bowl and stir to combine.  Place the broccoli into the air fryer basket and cook on 180C / 350F for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket every few minutes, until broccoli is fork tender and lightly brown with crisp edges.  Move to a serving plate and season with salt and pepper.

If you're making the garlic parmesan broccoli - place olive oil, garlic and chilli flakes into a mixing bowl and stir to combine.  Add broccoli florets to the bowl and mix well.  Place the broccoli into the air fryer basket and cook on 180C / 350F for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket every few minutes, until broccoli is fork tender and lightly brown with crisp edges.  Move to a serving plate and season with salt and pepper, then drizzle some lemon juice on top, followed by some finely grated parmesan.   

This 3 ingredient crispy air fryer broccoli is so good. And it is effortless and quick to rustle up.

Air fryer broccoli with spicy chili crisp

broccoli florets

tbsp Spicy chili crisp

lemon juice (or adjust to your liking)

Garlic powder

Chop the base of the broccoli and separate the florets.

Place them in a colander and wash them thoroughly under water.

When done, place them in a salad spinner and spin to dry or wipe them with a paper towel.

Spread them out on a kitchen towel and allow to dry under the fan for a few minutes.

Prep Work

In a mixing bowl, place the prepared broccoli florets.

Add the chili crisp oil to the broccoli and gently rub it onto the florets.

Tossing the broccoli

Arrange the broccoli pieces in the air fryer basket.

When arranging, make sure they are not crowded.

Roast in two batches if your basket is small.

Air frying

Roast in the air fryer at 375 F (190 C) for 8 minutes, shaking at the half way mark.

When done, transfer to a serving tray and squeeze lemon juice.

Serve immediately.

Air fryer timings

Preheat the oven to 400F (200C). On a baking sheet, arrange the broccoli florets in a single layer.

Make sure there are no overlaps.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes tossing them around the 8th minute mark.

Continue to bake them till they are crisp and brown around the edges.

Once done, squeeze lemon juice over the roasted pieces and serve immediately.

garlic powder

Preheat air fryer at 300 degrees F. Rinse and drain broccoli, transfer to a large bowl. Drizzle with both oils and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and toss to coat.

Transfer broccoli into the basket of air fryer leveling into a single layer. Air fry for 10 minutes at 300 degrees F, shaking once at 5 minute mark.

Serve hot with a side of quinoa or brown rice and healthy orange chicken, if you wish.

Looking for a great way to add some pizzazz to broccoli? Try air frying it! Air Fryer Broccoli is the perfect combination of crispy and tender, and you won&#x27;t believe how easy it is to make!

salt & pepper (to taste)

Add broccoli florets and oil to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and gently toss or stir to completely coat the broccoli.

Place broccoli into the air fryer basket.

Turn the air fryer to 300°F/150°C and cook for 10 minutes.  Shake the broccoli in the air fryer basket after 5 minutes.

Enjoy hot.

Prepare the broccoli by cutting them into florets so they are relatively equal in size.
