Air Fryer Toast

Bread (Any type, any thickness)

No need to preheat

Add your bread to the air fryer basket.  Set the temperature to 400° F | 204° C, and air fry for 4 minutes.   If you have very thin sliced bread, your toast will probably be done in 3 minutes.  If you like your toast dark, add 30 seconds more.

Due to the nature of the air fryer fan,  during the end of your toasting, you may hear your toast moving around in the air fryer, this is no reason for alarm.  The moisture has now left your bread.

Top with butter, avocado, jelly, or peanut butter.  But most of all, enjoy!

Air Fryer Toast is the easiest way to make toast! It turns out perfectly golden and crispy, in just a few minutes. All you need is your favorite slices of bread, and your air fryer.

Pick your favorite bread and how many slices of toast you would like to make.

Place each slice of bread flat in the basket, or on the baking rack, in a single layer.

Air fry at 400° Fahrenheit for 4-6 minutes, until toast is golden brown. Flip bread halfway through cooking time.

Add slices of bread to the air fryer tray or basket. Cook for 3 minutes at 400°

Turn over bread and air fry for another 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, your toast is cooking, prepare some toppings with vegan cream cheese or vegan butter in small bowls and bowls of sliced fruits that your family will enjoy eating with toast.

Serve with your favorite topping, and enjoy!

Air Fryer Toast is the easiest way to make toasted bread! It’s even easier than the toaster and comes out perfectly crispy and golden every time. 

Place bread in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket.

Air Fry for 4-5 minutes at 390F until golden, and flip after half the cooking time is over (optional).

Crispy golden brown on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside air fryer honey toast, so easy to make and delicious!

Honey Toast

unsalted butter (75 grams)

tbsp honey (60 grams)

cinnamon

salt

vanilla extract

fluffy bread

Melt the butter and honey together in the microwave in 30 second bursts until butter is just melted, then add the cinnamon, vanilla, and salt and mix to combine. You can also melt in a small saucepan on medium low heat if you prefer.

Score each slice of bread, cutting six square pieces per toast but not cutting all the way through (see the video for how I do this)

Brush both sides of the bread generously with the honey butter mixture.

Air fry at 350F (180C) for 10 minutes, flipping over halfway through, or until golden brown and crispy. Alternately, bake in an oven preheated to 350F (180C) for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.

Serve with extra honey drizzled on top, and preferably a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
