This Brussels sprouts with bacon recipe is easy enough to make on a weeknight but fancy enough to serve at a dinner party. Here's how to make a simple balsamic glaze that'll help them crisp up in the oven.

Bacon Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts,

bacon,

garlic,

kosher salt

black pepper

c. extra-virgin olive oil

c. balsamic vinegar

c. honey

rosemary

I often do something similar to this.
I cut my sprouts in half and lay them flat side down on some tin foil. I then sprinkle with salt and garlic (or whatever you like). Drizzle olive oil & Baslamic vinegar on the sprouts until it covers the bottom of them. You can also use red wine vinegar and white wine vinegar instead of the basalmic. Both are good. Close the tin foil into a pouch and put in the oven for 30-40 minutes on 400.  You can open the pouch up, sprinkle with cheese, and put it back in on broil for a minute or two.

Used maple syrup instead of honey and they were amazing

Learned not to cut the stem off the Brussels sprouts until done cooking. I had an abundance of burnt Brussel sprout “leaves” on my cookie sheet after 20 min in the oven. If you wait to cut the stems the brussel sprouts stay a bit more organized and visually appealing. The non- burnt ones tasted great!

I loved these and they were super easy to make! I will say that I pulled mine out of the oven after 20 minutes. They were already getting charred so 30 minutes would have been way too long.

Do not, under any circumstance, make this recipe.<ol><li>425 is entirely too hot. After 30 minutes, my vegetables were BLACK.</li><li>While the taste of the glaze is good, if you really let any amount of it actually cool, it just goes hard. So while you're eating your meal, the glaze is now just a hard clump on your sprouts.</li></ol>

Fantastic!  I was hoping to have some leftover to give my son, but my husband and I devoured them all in one meal!

i have Thanksgiving at my house every year with 20ish friends & family. We  love them. I make 5 lbs of Brussels & there gone by the end of the day. They are delicious ! A real crowd pleaser.

Great recipe!   I only used 4 slices of bacon to reduce the calories and fat (essentially 1 slice per serving).   As far as other comments regarding the sprouts getting burned, each oven is different.   I baked mine at 420 for 25 minutes, setting a timer for 10 minutes and stirring them twice.   I knew they would only need a couple more minutes after 20 minutes.    What you cook them on will also impact how quick they crisp up!   I used a cast iron griddle pan.  I also like to add a little lemon juice before serving.   :)

I would make this without the glaze next time because the glaze was too sweet and sticky and gets all over your teeth.

I followed the recipe and the brussels sprouts were delicious. My whole family enjoyed them.

These quick and easy crispy air fryer Brussels sprouts add a simple balsamic dressing for a weeknight side dish or a holiday meal.

Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic

olive oil (divided)

Brussels sprouts

sea salt and fresh ground pepper (to taste)

tbsp aged balsamic vinegar

tsp pure maple syrup (optional)

Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees for 5 minutes.

Trim and halve brussels sprouts. Toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.

Spread in a single layer in the air fryer basket, using rack if needed, and cook for 15 minutes or until cooked through and the edges are brown. Remove the basket and toss Brussels every 5 minutes during cooking.

Whisk together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, and maple syrup (if using).  Toss cooked sprouts with dressing.

This balsamic Brussels sprouts recipe is one of our favorite ways to cook Brussels sprouts! They become tender and caramelized in the oven, and the vinegar and honey add delicious sweet and tangy flavor. An easy side dish for any meal.

Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)

olive oil

balsamic vinegar

honey

sea salt

pecan halves

cranberries

parsley leaves (for garnish)

Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet and drizzle with the olive oil, balsamic, and honey. Sprinkle with the salt and several grinds of pepper and toss to coat. Arrange the Brussels sprouts cut side down in a single layer, leaving a little space around each one.

Roast for 20 to 30 minutes, or until tender and golden brown around the edges. The exact timing will depend on the size of your sprouts. Season to taste.
