Cut the beef into strips, across the grain....

Cut the beef into strips, across the grain. Marinate the beef with the Marinade, for 5 minutes.

Mix all the ingredients in the Teriyaki Sauce....

Beef Teriyaki (30-Minute Recipe)

lbs flank steak

cornstarch

coconut oil

soy sauce (use tamari

green onions (white and green parts thinly sliced)

Slice the flank against the grain into strips, as thin as possible. Place the steak in a ziploc bag and add the cornstarch. Toss to evenly coat.

In a small bowl, mix together the tamari, brown sugar, water, cornstarch and red pepper flakes. Stir to dissolve the sugar and cornstarch.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2-3 tablespoons coconut oil and heat until hot. Shake off any excess cornstarch and carefully add 1/2 the beef in an even layer, breaking up any chunks. Let cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes. Using tongs, flip the beef to the other side and let cook for another 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining oil and beef.

After transferring the second batch of cooked beef to a plate, Add a little more oil to the pan if needed and turn the heat to medium. Add the green onions, garlic and ginger and cook being careful not to burn for about 1-2 minutes. Add the sauce mixture and stir to combine. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let cook for 4-5 minutes until it thickens. Add the beef and serve immediately so the beef stays crispy. Serve with rice. Enjoy!

Whisk the soy sauce, sugar,mirin, garlic, cornstarch, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil together and set aside.

In a saute pan with a lid, steam broccoli florets w/ ¼ C of water over med-high heat until just tender and bright green. Remove from the heat and set aside.

Heat 1-2 tbsp of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium high heat and and brown the meat, about 3-4 minutes, then transfer to a bowl. Working in batches if needed.

Re-stir the sauce and pour into hot skillet, scraping any brown bits from the pan and bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened- about 2 minutes.

Add beef and broccoli to the sauce, stirring to coat until hot. Serve with rice.

You only need one skillet and 10 minutes to make this easy ground beef teriyaki recipe!

10-Minute Beef Teriyaki Recipe

¾ cup thick teriyaki sauce

In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat for about 1 minute.

Add beef, onion, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Cook, breaking up the meat as you stir, until the beef is no longer pink and the onion is tender (about 5-7 minutes). Drain off excess grease.

Stir teriyaki sauce into the beef mixture. Bring to a low simmer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, just until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serve over rice, in tortillas, or in lettuce wraps. Garnish with optional toppings.

My whole family lives this. We make this every other week! Great easy meal to teach the teens too.

I’ve made something similar to this.  Mine takes 20 minutes too. (20 minutes on the rice).  I brown the beef in the sesame oil, add the seasons and then use a frozen stir fry mix that has the onions, Green and red peppers, broccoli and sugar snap peas.  Add the teriyaki sauce (bottled because I’m slightly lazy) And simmer until rice is finished.  I let both stand to palatable warm and serve.  Next day tastes even better!! :)
