This copycat Recipe for Belvita Biscuits is filled with whole grains like oats and whole wheat flour paired with a vanilla and cinnamon flavor- these breakfast cookies are a great choice when you are on the go for an afternoon snack or in addition to a cup of yogurt for breakfast. 

Belvita Breakfast Biscuits Recipe

whole wheat flour

oats

canola oil

sugar

brown sugar

tbsp molasses

tsp vanilla extract

cinnamon

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C). Line a cookie sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper. Set aside.

Combine all of the ingredients with either a stand mixer or an electric hand mixer.

The mixture should be crumbly, but should hold together if pressed in to a ball in your hand.

Transfer the mixture to your prepared pan and press into the pan using a rolling pin or your hands.

Bake at 350° F (180° C) for 15 minutes.

Pull them out of the oven and immediately use a pizza cutter to cut the biscuits into squares.

Allow the pan to cool completely before eating/serving. If your biscuits are still soft, you can bake them for an additional 5 minutes, if needed.

Store in an air tight container for up to 5 days.

this looks fantastic! just wondering if you've managed to figure out the chocolate ones? I would also especially love if you could figure out the sandwich ones with dark chocolate creme! I love those so much but wish I could make a healthier, less expensive version. I have no idea how to make the creme filling.

I've made this recipe twice and both times the dough comes out very greasy versus the instruction that states "3. The mixtures should be crumbly, but should hold together if pressed in to a ball in your hand." I read how the oil gives the crunchy texture, but do you think the amount of oil could be decreased so the dough is not so greasy? Other than that these come together very quick and easy. I'm trying to decrease the amount of processed foods my family consumes and this recipe has accomplished my goal. Thank you.

I've had a lot of luck with adding anywhere from a quarter to a half of a cup of nut butter to add some protein and an equally random amount of flax seed and wheat germ for some extra nutrients. The nut butter makes them slightly chewier, but I enjoy it. The whole recipe is super flexible and I've made a bunch of flavor variations in the past few weeks, and I would love to try swirling about a half to a quarter cup of jam through them to get big chewy fruit windows ( tell me how it goes if you try it!). Making these has become a go-to part of my Sunday routine so I can have them all through the week with tea and coffee.

I added a cup of dried cranberries to mine and it worked like a charm! Maybe try dried bluberries (ALDI sells them, FYI).

I further altered the recipe by subbing honey for the molasses, my own 50/50 mix of white and turbinado sugar for the white/brown she used, and reduced the salt to 1/8 tsp. Delicious! 😋 🍪

These turned out great! I used all purpose flour because that's what I had, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. These biscuits turned out delicious and crunchy just like Belvitas! I've been trying to trim our grocery budget, and these come out way cheaper than the packaged version and they were so easy. Thanks for the wonderful copycat recipe!

hello do you think it's the same ingredients minus the cinnamon and vanilla extract in order to make the blueberry biscuits?? just add blueberries or dried blueberries...

These are really good. Next time I May pulse the oats so they are a finer texture. I made a batch last night and plan to make another batch today to get us through the week. Great!!

I just made these withal purpose and they were great.

I want to try this recipe.  I just finished a batch with coconut oil (not this recipe).... way to much coconut flavor.... yuck.  I really like canola oil I definitely think it will be so much better 
with that vs coconut oil.    All purpose white flour will work, I have seen other recipes that call for it.   Wheat is so much healthier and I think it gives it better flavor.  Makes it "heartier"  The Aldis brown sugar &amp; cinnamon breakfast biscuits use whole wheat.   I personally think they are better tasting than the brand name.  These are one of the few things my 3 year old daughter will eat....
