Original Bisquick™ Peach Cobbler Recipe

biscuit baking mix of choice

milk

nutmeg

cinnamon

salted butter

brown sugar

peaches (sliced with skin on)

Preheat your oven to 375 °F.

Whisk together the baking mix milk, nutmeg and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and mix again. Pour into an ungreased 8x8 pan or a large cast iron skillet.&nbsp;

Combine the peaches with the brown sugar, tossing to coat them well. Spoon onto the top of the Bisquick mixture in the pan carefully, trying to keep them on top if you can.

Place in the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes until golden brown and baked completely though. You can insert a toothpick into the baked part and see if it comes out clean.

Old-Fashioned Bisquick Peach Cobbler

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Mix the biscuit mix, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a medium mixing bowl.

Add the milk to the biscuit mix and mix together.

Melt butter and mix it into the mixture, as well.

Then pour the crust into an un-greased cast iron skillet or 8x8 baking dish.

In a separate mixing bowl, mix together the peaches, sugar, and brown sugar.

Spoon the peach mixture over the biscuit mixture in the pan.

Sprinkle with pecans or walnuts, if desired.

Bake at 375°F for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and cool before serving.

Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a generous helping of vanilla ice cream.

peaches (about 3 peaches, thinly sliced (or 1 29 oz jar, drained))

brown sugar (packed)

cornstarch

Bisquick Mix

vanilla

butter (melted)

If desired, peel peaches. Thinly slice. If using canned peaches, drain well. Toss peaches with brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.

Combine Bisquick mix, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Pour into an ungreased 9x9&quot; baking dish. Melt butter and stir into Bisquick mixture until just combined.

Layer peaches on top of Bisquick mixture (it will rise around the peaches as it bakes).

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
