A delicious and high-protein fruit smoothie bursting with blueberries and bananas to power your morning and your workout!

Protein Power Blueberry Banana Protein Smoothie

blueberries, frozen ((fresh is fine too))

banana

milk of choice ((we use soy milk))

tsp vanilla extract

oz low fat cottage cheese

tbsp chia seeds

lemon

Add all the ingredients to a blender, and grate in the lemon zest.

Blend. Done!

This is a really good smoothie!!! Ive never had cottage cheese and definitely never had cottage cheese in smoothies but I had a tub of it in my fridge and wasnt sure how to use it (was avoiding it tbh lol). Glad I can use it for something! I also added one scoop vanilla protein powder to up the protein even more. I think I'll add some spinach too next time. Thanks!

Honestly tasted pretty weird, like slightly toasted fruit loops. Definitely not a favorite.

G reat smoothie! Here's one I invented that I just love.  Feel free to use it!  
1 scoop Quest chocolate protein powder, 
1/2 cup blueberries, 
a handful of salad greens, 
1 cup almond milk, 
1 tsp. instant coffee, 
1 tsp. cocoa powder, 
dash vanilla, dash cinnamon, 4 ice cubes.        Blend.           Less than 200 calories.

Blueberry Protein Shake

almond milk (or milk of choice)

full fat greek yogurt

vanilla protein powder

blueberries

3-4 ice cubes (as needed for thicker texture)

raw honey (optional

Starting with the almond milk, place all the ingredients into a blender. Depending on your blender’s settings, first start on the chop mode to chop up the ice and frozen blueberries, followed by pureeing the mixture to create a smooth, even consistency.

In order to get your preferred consistency, you can also start by not adding any ice, following the other steps above. Once all other ingredients are mixed together, slowly add the ice, mix and then test. Continue to add more ice cubes until the desired consistency is met.

If too thick, you can add some more almond milk, little by little. If not sweet enough, add a little more honey.

The Blueberry Protein Shake is just what I'm looking for when I'm not sure what I want to eat. It's delicious! I like it because it doesn't contain spinach. I'm looking for other shake recipes that do not have spinach in them. Reason to due health issue, I can't consume!
