Cook rice with bone broth instead of water to make this hearty Bone Broth Rice! It’s easy, rich, and full of added nutrients like collagen, amino acids, and protein.

Bone Broth Rice

jasmine rice (rinsed)

tbsp butter (or ghee)

Pour the rice into a mesh sieve, then rinse it for at least 1 minute. Transfer the rice, along with the butter, to a large saucepan.

Pour in the broth, then bring the mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to a simmer, then simmer until the rice has absorbed the broth, about 20 minutes.

Fluff the rice with a fork, then add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!

Add the rice, butter and broth to your Instant Pot, then place a lid on top, making sure the valve on top is in the &quot;seal&quot; position.

Pressure cook the rice for 5 minutes, then natural release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the rest of the pressure. Fluff with a fork and enjoy!

Start by slicing the sausages and peppers.

Rinse rice, then add to a pot with bone broth in place of water for added protein and flavor. Let cook according to package instructions while you make the sausage and peppers skillet.

In a medium to large skillet, heat on medium to high heat. Once hot, add the extra virgin olive oil (or avocado oil), then add the sliced sausage to brown, about 3 to 4 minutes each side.

Add in peppers, toss, then cover with a lid, and let steam for 2 to 3 minutes to soften. Remove the lid, then stir occasionally for 5 to 7 minutes.

Plate and serve the sausage and peppers on top of the cooked bone broth rice with crumbled feta, flakey sea salt, ground pepper, drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and red chili flakes, if using. Enjoy!
