This easy feijoada recipe is the perfect combination of comfort and flavor all in one dish! With a combination of black beans and meat over rice, it&#039;s a dish to be enjoyed over and over again. 

Easy Feijoada Recipe

basmati rice (cooked)

olive oil

bacon

smoked pork sausage

15 oz black beans (do not drain)

chicken broth

garlic powder

bay leaves

oregano

salt

Cook the rice however desired.

Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add olive oil and heat.

Add the bacon and sausage and sauté until brown and crispy, about 4 minutes.

Add the can of black beans and cook for 1 more minute.

Add the chicken broth, garlic powder, bay leaves, oregano, and salt. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low.

Simmer for 15 minutes or until desired thickness.

Serve hot over rice.
