Put frozen breaded shrimp in the air fryer basket.  Cook at 400F for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.  Check shrimp for doneness and crispyness - if needed, cook for additional time in 3 minute increments, until ready (exact time depends on the size of shrimp and the amount).

A slightly spicy, totally crispy, delicious oven baked shrimp perfect for a weeknight meal.

Crispy Oven Baked Shrimp

Vegetable oil spray

unsalted butter

garlic

lemon juice

hot pepper sauce (Frank's)

Salt and Pepper

shrimp

paprika

cayenne pepper

Dijon mustard

breadcrumbs

parsley (chopped)

Lemon Wedges (for serving)

Preheat oven too 500 degrees, adjust oven rack to the middle position. Coat a baking sheet with vegetable oil spray or melted butter.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add in garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in the lemon juice and hot sauce and then season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat, and set aside.

In a large bowl, add cleaned shrimp, paprika, cayenne, mustard, ¼ teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper. Stir to combine, then add 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture.

Stir to combine again.

Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl, and one at a time, pick up shrimp and dip one side of the shrimp into the breadcrumbs. Use hands to press on them to help the breadcrumbs adhere.

Place the shrimp, breaded side up, on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.

Spray the shrimp with vegetable oil spray and bake in preheated oven for 8-9 minutes until just cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.

Take remaining butter mixture, rewarm in microwave if needed, and stir in the parsley.

Serve the shrimp with the melted butter mixture and lemon wedges.

Morton’s Steakhouse Shrimp Alexander

butter

jumbo shrimp ((8-12) to the pound)

shallots

parsley

salt and pepper

dry white wine (inexpensive chardonnay is fine)

salt

Preheat oven to 500.

Combine breadcrumbs, shallots, parsley, and garlic. You may wish to add some salt and pepper to taste.

Peel, devein, and butterfly shrimp.

Dip shrimp in butter (butter should be warm, not hot) then in breadcrumb mixture, and

Place shrimp in a baking dish or oven-proof pan with sides. Pour remaining butter into the pan so the shrimp can cook in the butter.

Bake shrimp at 500 degrees for 5 minutes or until done and the breading is lightly browned.

Breaded Shrimp

Place wine, lemon juice, and shallots into a small pan. Heat over medium heat.

When the wine has reduced to only a tablespoon, reduce the heat to the lowest setting on your stove. Start to add in small nobs of butter, stirring constantly until the butter melts.

Stir the sauce continually, adding in more butter only after the last addition has melted and the sauce has thickened.

The sauce will be done when the sauce has thickened and is a pale yellow. Do not allow the sauce to get too hot or it will break.

Buerre Blanc

Panko Shrimp aka Ebi Fry. Delicious shrimp seasoned and coated in panko crumbs and fried and served with a sriracha mayo sauce. Great as the perfect appetizer, side dish or main dish. Ready in under 30 minutes!

Quick & Easy Panko Shrimp

shrimps (jumbo size)

Panko (or as needed)

Vegetable oil (or any neutral oil)

Lemon wedges (optional for serving)

tbsp Potato starch (or cornstarch)

tbsp all purpose flour

tsp salt

garlic powder

tsp black pepper

mayonnaise (or regular mayonnaise)

tbsp sriracha sauce

Peel deveined shrimp and pat dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, crack and beat the egg.

In a medium bowl, mix Flour mixture ingredients as listed above.

In a baking sheet or shallow dish, spread panko breadcrumbs in a single layer.

Place shrimp into flour mixture first and coat well. Shake off any excess flour. Then coat shrimp with beaten egg, and lastly with panko breadcrumbs. Make sure there are no bald spots for best results.

In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat enough oil over medium-high heat or 350 degrees F. (To air fry, see below Notes for instructions)

Once oil is hot, in small batches (4-6 pieces) deep fry shrimp for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, flipping over halfway. Do not overcrowd the pan. Note: To tell when shrimp is cooked is when they&#39;re curled.  The internal temperature of cooked shrimp is 145 degrees F with a digital instant read cooking thermometer.

Transfer the first batch of fried shrimp to a wire rack for excess oil to drip off. Repeat for the remaining shrimp.

In a bowl, combine Japanese mayo and sriracha sauce. Enjoy with shrimp and fresh lemon juice (optional).

Easy Panko Shrimp

Delicious and healthy baked breaded shrimp, coated with seasoned breadcrumbs, panko and grated cheese, then baked until golden.

Healthy Breaded Shrimp

oz jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)

egg egg

panko crumbs (or gluten-free panko)

tbsp Parmesan cheese

olive oil spray

Egg white

Preheat oven to 450F. Spray a baking sheet with oil.

Put the beaten eggs in one bowl, and the breadcrumbs, panko and parmesan cheese in another.

Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then put a few at a time in the bowl with the eggs to coat.

Put a few pieces of shrimp at a time into the breadcrumb mixture to coat, then on a baking sheet.

Once all the shrimp is breaded, if you still have crumbs left, re-dip the shrimp back into the egg beaters and then back into crumbs and back onto the baking sheet.

Spray the top of the shrimp generously with oil then bake in the middle rack for about 6-7 minutes.

Turn shrimp over then cook another 3 minutes or until cooked though.

Remove from oven and serve right away with lemon wedges, if desired.

Can you do this with cleaned unthawed shrimp.  Can you bread frozen shrimp before deep frying?

Family loved. I used more panko than crumbs, added paprika for color and lightly salted the crumb mix as well. Important to dry the shrimp as she states otherwise ingredients won’t stick. 

Just made these guys in the air fryer and wow!!! All it needs is a nice healthy garlic butter and it’s perfection 

The shrimp were fantastic! The family loved them. Instead of re-dipping the shrimp, I mixed the remaining egg &amp; panko together &amp; baked it in the corner of the pan with the shrimp.
