A breakfast bagel is a great way to start the day. It&#39;s the ultimate breakfast sandwich that can be ready in just 10 minutes!

Breakfast Bagel For One

bagel

butter (, divided)

eggs

salt

black pepper

cheddar cheese ((about 1 ounce))

deli ham ((about 1 ounce))

Slice the bagel in half and put both halves in the toaster. Toast until lightly browned.

Crack the eggs in a small bowl and beat them with salt and black pepper. 

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in an 8-inch skillet over medium heat. Pour in the eggs and as the bottom sets, use the tip of a rubber spatula to lift up the edges of the eggs and let the uncooked eggs run underneath.

When the bottom is almost cooked, but the top is slightly wiggly, lay the cheese and ham over the middle.

Fold the egg in half and slide it off of the pan.

Butter both halves of the bagel. Fold the egg in half again and place it on one half of the bagel.

Top with the other half of the bagel and enjoy!

Egg and Cheese Breakfast Bagel Sandwich

Heat 1/2 tablespoon of butter in nonstick pan over medium-low heat. 

When butter foams, carefully crack eggs into pan. Gently cook, breaking the yolk if desired, and folding up the edges of the egg white to form a similar shape to the bagel. 

Cook egg for about 3 minutes, the gently flip over, top with slice of cheese, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until egg is cooked to desired consistency. 

While eggs are cooking, toast bagels and heat up bacon if necessary. 

Lightly butter bagels if desired, then top bottom bagel with fried egg and melted cheese, bacon slices, and top bagel.
