Basic Bulletproof Coffee gives you the simple ingredients and instructions to start having your breakfast in a mug! Try intermittent fasting with this great nutritional tool that will help your body to shed pounds and gain energy.

Basic Bulletproof Coffee

hot coffee (decaf or regular)

Tablespoon unsalted butter (or ghee, grass-fed (make sure it's unsalted))

oil oil

Place hot coffee in blender.

Add unsalted butter and MCT oil. Put lid on blender.

Use caution when blending hot liquids. Start on lowest speed.

Blend 12 seconds, increasing speed to medium.

Serve.

Oh my!! Absolutely LOVE this !!!! I've been off dairy and sugar ( 3 months now) and coffee is a huge part of my morning routine. Tried Oat Milk etc. ... ( not really)

Bulletproof Hot Chocolate (Paleo, AIP, Keto, GAPS)

milk

Tablespoons butter

Tablespoons gelatin

Tablespoons cocoa powder (OR for AIP: roasted carob powder)

Heat milk until steaming and hot to the touch, but not yet simmering. Place fat and sweetener into blender.

Add milk to blender. Top with cocoa and gelatin. Purée on medium speed for about 12 seconds. Pour foamy, hot goodness into mug. (If you want your drink hotter, you may now also pour it back into the saucepan to obtain optimum heat. But I don&#039;t like blending liquids that are too hot to preserve the integrity of the blender [which is usually plastic].)

oz brewed coffee (regular

Stevia (optional)

CannaButter

regular butter (or ghee or dairy free butter)

coconut oil oil

Canna Oil (coconut preferred)

Add all ingredients to hot, brewed coffee.

Blend using a frother or blender. Do not simply stir.

A Healthy Winter Beverage
I love seasonal foods and drinks.

There is just something comforting about preparing foods that represent something significant about each month of the year.

Winter, of course, is the time for peppermint!

Hershey's rolls out their peppermint kisses, the Salvation Army bell ringers hand out candy canes and the pine cones at the craft stores are infused with cinnamon, pine and peppermint.

Peppermint is truly the flavor for the Christmas season!

So, as much as I love seasonal treats and specialty coffee shop lattes, I can't see spending the money on their artificial and chemical laden brews.

Instead, I whipped up this frothy, mildly sweet, bulletproof style, dare I say, superfood coffee.  It will definitely get you going in the morning with the energizing peppermint kick, caffeine and healthy fats.

Bulletproof Peppermint Mocha Ingredients
1 cup extra strong brewed coffee

1 tablespoon maple syrup

2 tablespoons salted grass fed butter (I use Kerrygold)

1/2 cup heavy cream (Mine was skimmed right off the top of the jar from our local dairy)

1 tablespoon cocoa

1 drop therapeutic grade peppermint essential oil (I use doTERRA)

Bulletproof Peppermint Mocha Instructions
Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until good and frothy. (about 30 seconds)

Pour into mug, garnish with one of your kids' candy canes, and enjoy!

But, wait!  You can also get extra fancy and throw some more of that cream into your blender and make some fresh whipped cream to put on top.  Just make sure to not walk away and do other things while it is going, or you might end up with some butter.  Ask me how I know.

So, ahem, place cream into blender again and, voila, whipped cream!  If your drink is piping hot it will just sink right down into the mug, but it is still oh so delicious.
