Stuffed Cabbage Rolls with Sweet Sour Sauce

cabbage

long grain white rice, uncooked

Freeze the cabbage overnight (I have not tried this, myself, but there is a sound endorsement on the notes at the bottom of this post and next time I will!)

Core and place in boiling with a heavy plate to hold it down. Blanch about 3 &#8211; 5 minutes, remove promptly and drain upside down. Separate the leaves carefully, keeping them intact. The cabbage may need to be returned to the water when the inner leaves are reached.

This chicken casserole is the king of all others, packed full with cheese, peppers, and some not-so-secret ingredients. 

King Ranch Chicken Casserole Recipe

olive oil, divided

white onion, finely diced

green bell pepper, finely diced

chicken

chicken soup

can cream of mushroom soup

tomatoes

cayenne pepper

corn tortillas,

cheddar cheese, divided

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a casserole dish with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the remaining olive oil, and sautée the onion and bell pepper for around 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, stir together the chicken, chicken soup, mushroom soup, tomatoes, cayenne pepper, and cooked vegetables.

Next, arrange half of the tortillas in an even layer at the bottom of the casserole dish. It's fine if they overlap.

Spread half of the chicken mixture over the tortillas. Sprinkle with half of the cheese.

Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients, finishing with cheese on top. Depending on how big your casserole dish is, you may have two layers or three layers.

Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes until the top is bubbling and crispy.

This Chicken Noodle Casserole is easy to make with canned soup or with my homemade cream of mushroom! It&#039;s got a delicious cheese sauce with sour cream, broccoli, and juicy chicken.

Chicken Noodle Casserole

chicken (about 2 small chicken breasts)

Italian Seasoning

Garlic Salt

Pepper

olive oil

broccoli florets

dry Rotini

condensed cream of mushroom soup

sour cream (equal

milk (any kind)

cheddar cheese (shredded)

cheddar (shredded)

crispy onions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Season the chicken with 1 tsp. Italian seasoning, 3/4 tsp. garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

Heat 2 Tbsp. olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 3 minutes.

Toss the chicken and add the broccoli. Cook for 3-4 additional minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. Remove from heat.

Cook the rotini for 1 minute less than al dente, refer to package for cooking time.

Meanwhile, add the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, and 2 cups sharp white cheddar to the pot with the chicken &amp; broccoli. Stir to combine.

Drain the pasta and add it to the pot. Use a silicone spatula to gently mix until combined.

If the pot isn&#39;t oven safe, transfer to a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch casserole dish.

Top with 1 cup regular cheddar. Cover and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove cover and add crispy fried onions. Bake uncovered for 8 minutes. Serve with Garlic Bread with Cheese.
