How to Make Cauliflower Pizza Crust (That Won't Fall Apart)

Rice Cauliflower: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C). Grate cauliflower into rice consistency using either your food processor or a box grater.&nbsp;Spread cauliflower onto a parchment-lined baking sheet into as flat of a layer as possible. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cauliflower begins to brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees F (230 C).

Dry Cauliflower: Spoon cauliflower into a cheesecloth and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.

Make Dough: In a large bowl, stir to combine cauliflower and all remaining ingredients.&nbsp;Shape dough into a pizza round on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, carefully flipping the pizza crust halfway through cooking*.

Make Pizza: Top pizza crust with your favorite sauces and toppings, then return to the oven until all melty and delicious, about 7 minutes.

Cheesy Cauliflower Breadsticks

cauliflower (riced, about 1 large head of cauliflower)

mozzarella cheese

garlic (minced)

salt and pepper

mozzarella cheese (or more, for topping)

Preheat oven to 425 F degrees. Prepare 2 pizza dishes or a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make sure your cauliflower is roughly chopped in florets. Add the florets to your food processor and pulse until cauliflower resembles rice.

Place the cauliflower in a microwavable container and cover with lid. Microwave for 10 minutes. Let the cauliflower cool just until there's no more steam coming from it. Place the microwaved cauliflower in a large bowl and add the eggs, 2 cups of mozzarella, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix everything together.

Separate the mixture in two and place each half onto the prepared baking sheets and shape into either a pizza crust, or a rectangular shape for the breadsticks.

Bake the crust (no topping yet) for about 25 minutes or until nice and golden. Don't be afraid the crust is not soggy at all. Once golden, sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese and put back in the oven for another 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.

Slice and serve.

The best low carb way to enjoy pizza - homemade cauliflower pizza crust! This recipe is a great alternative for regular pizza but is made with a veggie + cheese based crust that is super tasty, satisfying, and gluten-free friendly as well. 

Low Carb Cauliflower Pizza Crust

sized cauliflower

parmesan cheese

salt + pepper (each)

pizza sauce

Preheat oven to 400F. Chop cauliflower in rough pieces and place in food processor or high powdered blender - chop on high until cauliflower is really fine small pieces - I do this in small batches. Cook chopped cauliflower in microwave in glass bowl for 8 minutes. Let cool then place in a thin dish towel and completely ring out extra moisture/water from cauliflower - this process is easier to do in small batches.

MIX: Add cauliflower to bowl with egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt &amp; pepper, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.&nbsp;

SHAPE:&nbsp;Lay parchment paper on a pizza pan, or lightly oiled pan, and add cauliflower dough. Press tightly together and form into a circle, make sure it's on the thinner side.

Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and add sauce, cheese, and other desired toppings. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Let cool for several minutes, slice and eat!&nbsp;

Cauliflower Pizza Crust (Low Carb Keto Pizza)

cauliflower (florets)

shredded cheese (or 1/3 cup soft cheese)

egg (beaten)

Italian seasoning

salt and pepper (to taste)

pesto sauce

chicken

mozzarella cheese (shredded)

(packed) baby spinach

marinara sauce

oz mozzarella ball (sliced)

basil leaves

red pepper flakes (optional)

Preheat and Grate

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the cauliflower florets from the stem or use frozen and thawed cauliflower florets. Grate them using a food processor or box grater.

Add the cauliflower rice to a microwave safe bowl, cover, and microwave for 4-5 minutes to soften. Alternatively, you could saute the cauliflower rice in a pan on medium heat on the stove for 8-10 minutes. Then let it cool to the touch.

Transfer the cauliflower rice into a nut milk bag or thin kitchen towel. Drain the cauliflower by squeezing it until all the excess moisture is out. Squeeze as hard as you can!

Place the drained cauliflower rice in a large mixing bowl. Add the cheese, egg and seasonings. Use your hands to mix everything together to form the pizza dough.

On a parchment lined baking sheet, press the dough dough down into an even circle. The diameter should be around 9 inches. If you have a pizza stone, that&#x27;s even better and will produce a crispier crust.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until slightly golden, then remove from oven. You could also bake for 20 minutes and flip the crust over, then bake an additional 5-10 minutes for an even crispier crust.

Add the toppings and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

In a large pot of boil water, cook cauliflower florets until soft enough to smash with a fork

Using a nut bag, ring all liquid out cauliflower

The more liquid you can get out of the cauliflower, the crispier your crust will be

In a large bowl combine prepared cauliflower, cream cheese, salt, garlic powder, onion powder and oregano

Using a fork break up the cauliflower and mix together with spices, eggs and cheese until fully combine

On a parchment lined pizza stone or baking sheet use your hands to press the cauliflower mixture into a flat circle that is about 1/4" thick

Place on center rack in oven and bake for 30 minutes

Remove from oven and set a new piece of parchment over the top of the pizza

Using your hands carefully flip the pizza crust so the top is now face down

At this point you can remove all parchment if you want as it will no longer stick to anything

Cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until edges are golden and crispy

Remove finished pizza crust from oven and top with toppings of your choice

For this pizza we spread tomato pesto and topped with mozzarella cheese, mushrooms and olives

Cook for 5-8 more minutes or until cheese has melted

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before adding arugula and cutting

Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400° F.

Prep a baking sheet or pizza stone: Line a baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment. Grease the parchment with olive oil spray or rub on regular olive oil. 

Prep cauliflower: If using whole cauliflower, remove the stems and leaves from the cauliflower and chop the florets into chunks. Add to a food processor or blender and pulse just until the texture is similar to rice. If you don’t have a food processor or high powered blender, you can grate the cauliflower with a cheese grater or chop it. Another (much faster option) is to buy riced cauliflower. 

Cook cauliflower rice: Sauté cauliflower “rice” in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook until translucent, approximately 6-8 minutes. (You can use the microwave for this as well. Just place cauliflower in an uncovered microwave-safe bowl and cook for 8 minutes.)

Mix cauliflower dough: In a bowl combine the cooked cauliflower with garlic, mozzarella cheese, egg, basil and oregano. The cheese will melt a bit and this is okay. 

Spread dough to make the crust: Spread dough out evenly on your parchment lined baking sheet and form into a circle. You’ll want it to be about 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch thick. The pizza should be about 9-10 inches in diameter.

Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden, crispy on the edges and cooked through the middle.

Remove the crust from the oven and set oven to broil.

Add toppings: Top with pizza sauce and cheese. You can also add additional toppings, but be careful not to add too many heavy toppings as you don’t want to weigh down the crust.

Broil: Broil the pizza for 5 minutes, or until the toppings are hot and the cheese is melted. Allow the pizza to cool for 2-3 minutes then cut and serve immediately. Serve with fresh basil and crushed red pepper.

How to Make the Best Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Put ½ of the cauliflower florets into bowl of food processor, pulse until it resembles rice (about 30 seconds). Transfer into a large bowl and place other ½ of florets into food processor to repeat above.

Microwave pulsed cauliflower for 5 minutes OR add all to a pot with 1 inch of water and bring to a boil to let it cook for 5 minutes with a lid on. Alternatively, you can also steam the cauliflower.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

Let cauliflower cool for 15 minutes. Once cool enough to handle, transfer cauliflower to a clean dish towel or cheesecloth. Squeeze of excess moisture -- make sure to do this until virtually no water comes out and the cauliflower is dry This is very important to the success of the recipe.

Next transfer cauliflower pulp to a large bowl and add in egg, mozzarella, parmesan, coconut flour, garlic powder, oregano, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Stir to combine and form a soft dough.

Place dough in the middle of the prepared pan and push out with your hands to form a 9-10 inch circle, with about ¼ inch dough thickness.

Bake for 20 minutes until crust is firm and slightly golden brown. Remove from oven, then top with pizza sauce and cheese (or whatever your heart desires).&nbsp;

Bake for 5-10 more minutes until cheese is melted, then turn broiler on for 1-2 minutes to get cheese nice and golden brown and bubbly. Make sure to watch carefully!
