Chicken Stuffing Casserole Recipe

chicken breast

can cream of chicken soup

sour cream

stuffing

chicken broth

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Place diced chicken in the casserole dish. Try to spread out in a single layer as much as possible.

Mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Pour soup mixture over the chicken.

Heat the chicken broth in the microwave for 1 minute or on the stove until warm. Stir the warm broth with the stuffing mix and then spread over cream of chicken soup.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Carefully uncover and bake another 10-15 minutes. Make sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

This delicious chicken stuffing bake is the perfect meal for busy weeknights. With only a few ingredients, this creamy dish is quick and easy.

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Cream of Chicken Soup (10 oz each)

Milk

Stove Top Chicken Stuffing Mix (6 oz)

Chicken Broth

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and spray a 9X13 baking pan with a non stick cooking spray.

Cut the chicken into bite size pieces (approximately 1 inch pieces).  Then spread the chicken pieces out evenly on the bottom of the 9X13 pan.

Then sprinkle the salt and pepper on top of the chicken.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soups and the milk.  Spread this mixture over the chicken and then top with the stuffing mix evenly on top.  Then pour the chicken broth over the stuffing mix and try to cover as much of it as possible.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.  Then remove the foil and bake uncovered for 15 more minutes.

Then remove from the oven and let sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Serve warm and then enjoy!

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Spray a 9x11 (or equivalent) inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes. Cook until the onions and celery are soft, and the carrots and potatoes are starting to soften. Plate the vegetables and melt the butter in the same skillet. Whisk in the flour and cook for 2-3 minutes while whisking almost constantly.

Add the chicken broth and half and half, alternating between the two, whisking until smooth. Add the salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Return the vegetables to the skillet and simmer until all the vegetables are just tender.

Meanwhile, cook the stovetop stuffing mix according to package directions and cover to keep warm.

Add the chicken and peas to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes. Pour the chicken-vegetable mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spoon the cooked stuffing on top.

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. If desired, top with some chopped fresh herbs.
