Made these for my husband and his friend for a foorball snack.  They were raving abour them!  I didn't have  the freshl parmesan to grate so I did use the one from a jar and also used a dried parsley.  They said they wouldn't change a thing anyway!

I have never been a true fan of wings, but do make them for my family. They usually want buffalo or BBQ, but going forward, these wings will be on the table too. They are the best I've had, and the caesar dressing wasn't even necessary.

I loved this easy receipe ... normally do "real" Buffalo Wings being from Western NY but wanted to offer another variety at gathering and were a huge hit  ... i reserved some of the garlic butter and lightly coated bottoms of a couple fresh bread crust pizza's as well ... We all be eaten good tonight .... Happy New Years!!

I have never really eaten wings very much, as they are usually way too greasy for me. Somehow I got a “hankering” and decided to try this recipe. OH WOW! Had sauce leftover so am making them again just 4 days later!!! This is a SUPER recipe. As they say, “try it, you’ll LIKE it”!

OMG! These wings are the best. Really, really good.

Tastes great. I substituted avocado oil because it’s high in MCT and also doesn’t smoke, making this even more keto friendly. Used Costco party wings cut into 1st and 2nd sections only. Also great with same ingredients but cooked in a charcoal kettle grill with a conic vortex briquette container.

The amount of butter is overkill, but otherwise this recipe turns out nice.  Keep an eye on the chicken toward the end of cook time as many ovens cook differently.

I usually do wings the frying in oil way. Well, let me say these were outstanding! Do not hesitate to make this recipe. You won’t be sorry.

I used whole wings and folded the tip behind the leg looking part. I also put a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet & turned them after 20 mins. 40 mins total were done. Clean up a breeze.

Bourbon BBQ Smoked Chicken Wings

lbs chicken wings, patted dry

sweet and smoky chicken rub ((or your favorite store-bought rub))

Tbsp vegetable oil

hickory wood pellets

sweet yellow onion (, finely minced)

garlic (, finely minced)

bourbon (use a good quality)

tomato paste

ketchup

brown sugar

apple cider vinegar

Worcestershire sauce

Tbsp liquid smoke

Tbsp kosher salt

tsp black pepper

cayenne pepper

hot sauce ((optional))

Add a drizzle of olive oil to a saucepan over MED heat.&nbsp; Add onion and garlic and cook about 5 minutes.&nbsp; Add in bourbon and continue cooking about 3 minutes.

Add tomato paste and whisk to break it up.&nbsp; Add all remaining sauce ingredients and whisk to combine.&nbsp; Increase heat to MED-HIGH and bring to a boil.&nbsp; Reduce heat to MED-LOW or LOW and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.

Pour sauce through a fine mesh sieve to strain out onion and garlic pieces if you like a smooth, glossy sauce.&nbsp; Set aside and cool.&nbsp; Store leftover bbq sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.

BOURBON BBQ SAUCE

Pat chicken wings dry with a clean paper towel.&nbsp; Add wings to a large mixing bowl and toss with vegetable oil.&nbsp; Add rub and massage into the wings, making sure each wing is coated.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Add hickory wood pellets to hopper.&nbsp; Turn on smoker, open lid and set to the SMOKE setting.&nbsp; Heat on SMOKE, with the lid open, for 5-10 minutes, until very smoky.&nbsp; Add chicken wings to oiled grill grates, set smoker to 250 F degrees.&nbsp; Close smoker lid and smoke for 2 hours 30 minutes, or until chicken wings reach an internal temperature of 165 F degrees.&nbsp; Use an instant read meat thermometer to insure accurate cooking temperatures.

Change smoker setting to HIGH and baste chicken wings on both sides with bourbon bbq sauce.&nbsp; Cook wings for 5 minutes, then flip them over and cook 3-5 minutes on the other side.

Select SHUT DOWN on smoker and remove chicken wings to a foil or parchment lined plate or baking sheet.&nbsp; Let rest 5-10 minutes.&nbsp; Turn smoker off and unplug it.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Eat wings as is, or brushed with additional bbq sauce.&nbsp; Dip in blue cheese or ranch dressing and serve with celery and carrots for a traditional experience.

SMOKE CHICKEN WINGS

Extra crispy baked chicken wings are coated in a sweet and tangy Memphis-style barbecue sauce flavored with pure maple syrup! Serve these at your next game day party or for any occasion and watch how fast they disappear!

Crispy Maple Barbecue Glazed Wings

chicken

baking powder (NOT baking soda!)

blacked pepper

butter (unsalted)

onion

garlic

tomato sauce

mustard

dark molasses (not blackstrap molasses)

onion powder

paprika

liquid smoke

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (218°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil, place a baking rack on top of the foil-lined sheet, and spray the rack with nonstick cooking spray. Set the baking sheet aside.

Place your chicken wings in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle them with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Use your hands to toss the wings and ensure the wings are completely coated in the baking powder. You may wear gloves if you like.

Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each wing. Bake the wings in the prepared oven for 40-50 minutes, until they are very crispy.

While the wings are baking prepare your barbecue sauce. In a medium saucepan, cook the chopped onion in a tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat until softened, about 3-5 minutes.

Add the garlic, tomato sauce, vinegar, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, molasses, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, and liquid smoke and stir everything together with a wooden spoon.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the sauce, covered, for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until all the flavors have come togetehr and the sauce has thickened.

Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl using silicone-tipped kitchen tongs. Pour the sauce over the wings in the bowl and gently toss the wings with gloved hands or tongs, being sure to coat all the wings in sauce.

Using the tongs, transfer the wings to a serving dish. Serve the wings with a side of ranch for dipping if desired. Enjoy!

How to make the best Buffalo Wings on your smoker or pellet grill

The best chicken wings are tender, juicy, perfectly crispy, and made in an air fryer!

Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings

lbs chicken wings

tsp paprika (regular

oregano

tsp chipotle powder (can substitute with chili powder)

tsp kosher salt

olive oil

Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Pat chicken wings very dry with paper towels, then place in a large mixing bowl.

Prepare

In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, chipotle powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Make dry rub

Drizzle chicken wings with oil and stir/toss to coat them.

Sprinkle about half the dry rub over the chicken and use your hands to stir/toss the wings with the rub, massaging the spices into the chicken.

Repeat with the remaining dry rub.

Coat chicken wings

If desired, add a piece of parchment paper (cut to the size of the air fryer basket) to the bottom of the basket. Do this right before adding the chicken wings to the air fryer. It&#39;s not necessary, you can air fry the wings directly in the basket.

Working in batches, add several chicken wings in the air fryer, skin side down. Do this in a single layer, leaving a little space around each wing to allow for even cooking.

Air fry for 8 minutes, then flip them over and cook another 8 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature (with an internal meat thermometer) of 165°F.

Since you&#39;ll be working in batches, I recommend keeping a baking sheet in a 250°F oven (if you have one), and transferring each batch of cooked wings to the oven while you air fry the next batch.

Air fry

Serve hot, with your favorite dipping sauce (ranch, bleu cheese, bbq, buffalo), and some carrot and celery sticks.
