These spicy chili garlic noodles are fast, incredibly flavorful, and vegan. They're super easy - this dish is ready in under 15 minutes!

Chili Garlic Noodles

soba noodles

olive oil

soy sauce

sriracha sauce

hoisin sauce

lime

garlic (minced)

red pepper flakes (to taste)

Salt & pepper (to taste)

Boil a pot of water and cook the soba noodles according to package directions (it only takes about 3-4 minutes to cook the noodles, so have everything else ready to go before you put them in the water).

Add the oil, soy sauce, sriracha, hoisin sauce, lime juice, garlic, and red pepper flakes to a skillet on medium-high heat. Cook it for 2-3 minutes, stirring often, until it's warmed through and the garlic is fragrant. Take it off the heat and then drain the soba noodles and toss with the sauce. Add salt &amp; pepper if desired. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve with extra lime wedges if desired. Serve immediately - the noodles stick together the longer you leave them.

Chilli Garlic Noodles | Chilli Garlic Flavored Hakka Noodles

200 gms Rice Noodles

tbsp Sesame Oil

tbsp Garlic (chopped)

Dry Red Chilli

Onion

tbsp Green Chilli sauce

tbsp Soy sauce

tsp Sriracha Sauce

tbsp Rice vinegar

Sugar

Water

tbsp White Sesame Seeds

tbsp Spring Onion Green

Switch on the Instant pot in sauté mode. When it shows ON add in 2 tbsp of sesame Oil. Let it get hot.

Next add in the chopped garlic and saute till it turn slightly golden. Next add in the dry red chili and Saute for few secs and then add in the onion. Saute till the onions turn soft.

Next add in the Soy sauce, Green Chili Sauce, Sriracha Sauce and Rice Vinegar and stir everything together.

Now add in 1.5 cups of water scrape the bottom and deglaze. Make sure nothing is stuck to the bottom of the pot.

Mix well and then add in 1/2 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp of Sugar. All the sauces have salt so adjust and then add. 1/2 tsp Salt was perfect for me.

Now add in the Rice Noodles. Layer it on top of the liquid. If your liquids start boiling you may press the cancel button and then layer the noodles. Using a spatula press the noodles so that it stays below the water level. You can also break and add the noodles so that it fits perfectly.

Close the Instant Pot and set 4 mins in high pressure. Open the Instant Pot after 5 mins of natural pressure release.

The noodles are perfectly cooked. Fluff them with a tongs.

Garnish some toasted sesame seeds and spring onion and serve hot.

Super tasty, garlicky, spicy, flavourful noodles in just 10 minutes! This easy restaurant quality Chinese chilli garlic noodles is a must-try!

10-Minute Chilli Garlic Noodles

noodles

coriander (finely chopped)

spring onions (finely chopped)

tbsp homemade crispy chilli oil (optional)

tbsp chilli powder/flakes (or adjust

½ tbsp white sugar

tbsp neutral tasting oil (eg. sunflower, grapeseed, canola)

1½ tbsp soy sauce

½ tbsp black vinegar

½ tsp sesame oil

In a large heatproof bowl, combine chilli powder (or flakes), garlic and sugar.

Heat oil in a small saucepan until very hot. Oil is hot enough when small ripples start to form on the surface of the oil or it starts to smoke a little.

Carefully, pour hot oil into the bowl of chilli garlic mixture. Mix well with a pair of chopsticks then stir in soy sauce, black vinegar and sesame oil. Divide this chilli garlic sauce into two large serving bowls.

Cook noodles according to packet instructions. Usually, the noodles take about 3 minutes to cook.

Add cooked noodles into the bowl of prepared chilli garlic sauce. Top with coriander, spring onions and crispy chilli oil (if using) then serve.

Mix thoroughly before eating.

Quick 10-Minute Chilli Garlic Noodles

Garlic (Finely chopped)

tsp Sugar (Or vegetable/chicken bouillon)

soy sauce (or all-purpose soy sauce)

tsp Dark soy sauce

tbsp rice vinegar rice

Spring onions (Cut thin slices)

Coriander (Finely chopped)

Sesame seeds (Toasted)

Chop up garlic, spring onions, and coriander.

Heat the oil over medium-high heat add chopped garlic and let it sizzle for 10 seconds, then bring the heat to low.

Add crushed chillies, chilli powder, and stir it well for 10 seconds.

Turn off the heat and add light soy, dark soy, sugar, sesame seeds, and black vinegar. Combine everything well and set it aside.

Prepare the noodles by the packet instructions and drain the water out. Divide the noodles and place them in serving bowls.

Pour 2-3 tbsp chilli garlic sauce over the noodles. Garnish with spring onions, coriander, and toasted sesame seeds. Combine everything well, make a taste test and add more chilli oil if needed.
