Chocolate Avocado Pudding is an easy, dairy-free dessert! I love how it&#039;s made with healthy avocados, with a rich &amp; creamy texture.

Chocolate Avocado Pudding (5-Minute Dessert!)

avocado ((ripe))

cacao powder ((or cocoa powder))

maple syrup

vanilla

salt

water ((or more as needed to blend))

Scoop the flesh of the avocado into a mini-food processor or blender. Add in the cacao powder, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, vanilla, salt, and water, and blend until smooth.

Taste the pudding and add more maple syrup if needed. (Or anything other extra flavorings you like!) You can serve this right away, or put it in an airtight container in the fridge to chill.

Leftovers can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 48 hours. The pudding can sometimes separate, but stirring it should restore the texture.

This is best on the day you make it, though you can store it in the fridge for 24 hours in an airtight container. If any liquid separates out, simply stir it up.

Easy Chocolate Avocado Pudding

medium avocado, pit and peel discarded ((about 1/2 cup avocado flesh))

whole milk Greek yogurt

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend on low speed until combined, increasing the speed a little to make a smooth pudding. Stop and scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.

Top with sprinkles if desired.

Very yummy, I also put a banana as recommended. My kids loved it! They had no idea they were eating avocado!

Btw, I poured the extra pudding into the small popsicle moulds you recommended and I completely forgot about them … I just took one out and OMG! They are phenomenal! I can even say that they taste better frozen! I never crave ice cream but this is something I’ll be looking forward to having again and again , so creamy and delish xx

Never thought this would work, but it’s a 10/10. My 4 and 1 year olds gobbled it up AND my husband. I very rarely get 3 for 3! Agree with others that a banana would be good. Next time I’ll double the recipe to make popsicles.

Made two batches, one with plain oatmilk yogurt, the other with plain almond milk yogurt. Both taste delicious!

I made this and it was unfortunately too bitter! So... I added banana and it help tremendously! 🙂

If anyone else thinks it is too bitter trust me the BANANA helped 💗

Do you use vanilla without alcohol in it or is regular vanilla ok even though it isn’t baked?

It was pretty yummy! I don’t have a blender currently so I just mashed the avocado by hand and then mixed everything together, naturally it was a bit chunkier but it worked fine. I topped it off with blueberries and shredded coconut 😋

So delicious!  I used chobani vanilla yogurt and added a banana for volume, so no added sweeteners were necessary!  Simply delicious!  Thanks for this great recipe!
