Healthy Chocolate Smoothie

milk

banana ((fresh

/ ½ cup cooked sweet potato

cocoa powder

maple syrup

chia seeds ((optional but adds some extra nutrition))

ice cubes banana (, none if your banana is frozen)

Add all ingredients except maple syrup or 1 date to a blender.

Blend until velvety and smooth. This takes 1 minute on the smoothie setting with my Blendtec . If your blender isn't a high powered one it will probably take a little longer.

Taste a little bit to check sweetness and add either some maple syrup or a medjool date if necessary. Blend again to incorporate.

Serve immediately.

Healthy Chocolate Banana Smoothie

banana

hazelnuts ((or raw))

dates

oz chocolate melted ((for garnish))

In a blender add toasted hazelnuts and make them into a fine powder.

Then add remaining ingredients listed above (except chocolate) in a blender. Blend until it gets a smooth consistency.

Pour prepared chocolate smoothie in a serving glass. Drizzle some melted chocolate and top with some hazelnuts.

(140 g) frozen cherries, pits removed

(118-235 ml) non-dairy milk (store-bought

cacao or cocoa powder

natural almond butter

almond extract

Optional ginger

Add all ingredients to a blender. Use less milk for a thicker smoothie, or more for a thinner smoothie.

Blend on high for 30-60 seconds, until the smoothie is smooth and creamy. Pour into a drinking glass and serve chilled.
