Fantasy Fudge

sugar

unsalted butter

evaporated milk

chocolate chips (12 ounce)

marshmallow cream (7 ounce)

vanilla extract

walnuts

Line a square 9-inch dish with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a medium saucepan, heat sugar, butter, and evaporated milk over medium heat until it begins to boil.

Continue boiling (a good rolling boil) for a full 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and marshmallow cream. Stir until combined. Fold in vanilla and walnuts.

Pour mixture into prepared pan. Allow to set one hour.

Chocolate Walnut Fudge

milk chocolate chips (1 bag or about 2 cups)

condensed milk (2-14 ounce cans)

walnuts (chopped)

Line an 8 x 8 - inch with foil or parchment paper, and lightly grease with cooking spray. Set aside.

Place the butter, chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk in a large, microwave-safe bowl. Heat it for 3 to 4 minutes (high power-see tips), stirring at 30 second intervals, until melted and smooth.

Add the walnuts, and stir until incorporated.

Transfer the fudge into the prepared pan, and smooth into an even layer. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until set. Cut into squares and serve.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator or at room temperature for up to 4 days.

I told him before I ended up searching for a recipe that I use to get mine while on vacation in the mountains and it was always the best. Franchised fudge factories had nothing on the place in the mountains and now also this recipe!! I make it for my husband and also for my dad who loves fudge!
