lb. refrigerated pizza dough

Being Italian I added some garlic powder instead of the rosemary and it was great.  The canned pizza dough is much easier to work with.

I followed the recipe exactly and found that there was too much green stuff on the tree after you add the spices.  I think the spices should be tsp. not tbsp.  Your picture shows very little green.    If it is tbsp.  then you need 1/2 c of butter instead of 1/4 and you have a really green tree.  It was delicious and well received.

This was a big hit! Everyone loved them. Would recommend. Getting the pizza dough to stretch was challenging. I got two rolls of it. Next time I will get the thinner pizza dough. Very yummy.

I used Wewalka Classic Pizza dough because my grocery store was out of Pillsbury. To my delight, it is rolled to a perfect 10” x 14” rectangle, which saved me considerable time. It was a hit at our friends’ Christmas party!

I made this for a Christmas party and it turned out great! The hardest part was cutting/ rolling it out, but the out great and delicious.  Everyone wanted the recipe and ate it all,  so that's always desired outcome.  Definitely recommend.

Pork Dumplings with Peanut Sauce

(180 ml) water

(125 ml) crunchy peanut butter

(15 ml) honey

(15 ml) soy sauce; approximately

(5 ml) sesame oil

Salt and pepper

lb (225 grams) lean ground pork

green onion, chopped

(15 ml) fresh ginger, finely chopped

garlic,

(15 ml) soy sauce

(2.5 ml) of sesame oil

34 squares won-ton wrappers

(45 ml) peanut oil or canola oil

In a saucepan, bring all the ingredients to a boil, stirring with a whisk. Simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

PEANUT SAUCE

In a bowl, combine the pork, mushrooms, green onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

On a work surface, lay six wrappers at a time. With a spoon, scoop about 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of stuffing in the centre of each square. Brush the wrappers with a little water and close them in a triangle or half-moon shape. Press the dough around the filling to avoid air bubbles. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook only a few dumplings at a time in simmering water until <i>al dente</i> or 2 to 3 minutes. Drain and set aside on an oiled baking sheet.

In a large non-stick skillet, combine both oils to brown the dumplings on each side. Serve with peanut sauce.

If desired, freeze at this stage. Before serving, thaw in the refrigerator and reheat in the oven.

I wasn't fond of this sauce, it's missing a little something.

I was looking for a peanut dipping sauce this is recipe is excellent, fast, simple ingredients used it for dumplings and chicken, yummy, a keeper..

Your ingredients say Pork but directions say beef, I am presuming this is an error and it is pork.

This is so easy to make. The kids gobbled it up so fast the first time, I now have to double the recipe!

The Best Deviled Eggs with Dill Pickles

Dijon mustard

dill weed

On a cutting board, slice the eggs in half lengthwise.

Scoop out the yolks and place in a medium sized bowl.

Finely mash the egg yolks with a fork or the back of a spoon.

Add mayonnaise, mustard, dried dill weed and a pinch of salt and a few grinds of pepper. Stir to thoroughly combine.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of the dill pickles and the dill pickle juice.

Spoon the deviled egg mixture into a small resealable baggie. Seal the baggie. Cut about 1/2 inch off the bottom corner of the baggie. Pipe the egg yolk mixture into the egg white halves.

Sprinkle the deviled eggs with the remaining chopped dill pickles and the parsley.

Serve immediately or store covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

This Pull-Apart Crescent Roll Christmas Tree is a fun and easy holiday appetizer made with just 5 ingredients. Flaky, buttery crescent rolls are filled with herby cream cheese and baked to perfection. Enjoy with marinara or another dipping sauce of choice.

Crescent Roll Christmas Tree

(8 ounces each) refrigerated Pillsbury crescent rolls

chive and onion cream cheese (, softened)

Parmesan cheese

& 1/2 tablespoons butter (, melted)

flakey sea salt (,

marinara sauce (, for serving/dipping)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Very lightly dust a clean work surface with flour. Unroll all of the crescent rolls and separate them along the perforated lines. Using a lightly buttered pizza cutter (or knife) cut each triangle in half lengthwise, so you end up with 32 pieces.

Place about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese on the wider end of a triangle, then sprinkle with a little Parmesan. Roll it up and repeat with remaining ingredients. Place on the baking sheet next to each other in the shape of a Christmas tree (start with trunk and working up to top - see photos for reference.)

Transfer to the oven and bake for about 22 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove from the oven, lightly brush with butter and sprinkle with the sea salt and parsley.
