This cilantro vinaigrette is EVERYTHING. The flavor is amazing and it only takes 5 ingredients! This recipe is completely inspired by the cilantro vinaigrette in the beautiful What's Gaby Cookin cookbook!

5 Ingredient Cilantro Vinaigrette

huge bunch of fresh cilantro (2 cups packed)

olive oil

white vinegar

garlic

salt

red pepper flakes

water, if needed

Blend everything up for about a minute until smooth. Add the water if you need more volume in the blender to make it run smoothly. Season to taste!

PUT ON EVERYTHING! I actually do mean everything. So delicious.

Cilantro is a divider in our household. Half of us HATE cilantro and the other half have good taste. ;) this looks good and inspiring me, as I am gonna be eating a lot of salads this week. My belly is catching up with my eyes.

I loved this sauce!! I used ACV cause that’s all I had and it was delicious. All I could think about what everything I could put this on. I massaged it in kale and used that as the base for a chicken taco salad. Simple recipes like this are the best as they can really amp up a lot of meals!!

I love this idea! Cilantro is my favourite, and I frequently make a chimichurri using cilantro in place of parsley, so it's very similar to this. 

Just wanted to leave a note to say that for some reason mine came out super bitter. I used lemon &amp; lime juice instead of vinegar, so perhaps that's why... but I don't know. To fix it, I added a bit more olive oil and some honey. Now it's PERFECT! I just ate it on a turkey and avocado sandwich. Can't wait to baste my grilled shrimp with it tonight!

Your method to prepare vinaigrette is perfect. I will try it and i am sure that it will be like that i am expecting in taste.

This vinaigrette is DELICIOUS. We loved the cilantro, so I started trying this with other fresh herbs. Basil, parsley, and mint all work well for us.

As a lover of cilantro, I had high hopes for this but it is awful. Bitter, harsh and doesn't do anything good for any dish.  Total waste of ingredients and time.  Take a big pass on this.

Love this! I used half avocado oil and olive oil, Apple cider vinegar and a bit of honey!!

Lime Juice

Cilantro

Olive Oil

tsp Mustard, dijon

tsp powdered Swerve (optional)

The first step is to chop the cilantro, both the leaves and the stems.

Get your mini food processor, or your Vitamix pitcher and start to add the ingredients one at a time, first the chopped cilantro.

Then the next thing to do is to squeeze the lime juice, and add it to the pitcher.

Next step is to add the powdered Swerve, and mustard. 

Blend and then add the olive oil and blend again. 

Pour your dressing into a glass jar and put it in the refrigerator to chill for 30-60 minutes.

Creamy Cilantro Sunflower Seed Dressing

raw unsalted sunflower seeds

Tbsp lemon juice ((~1 large lemon))

cilantro leaves ((or sub another soft herb

garlic ((1 small clove = 4 g))

tsp sea salt

water

Mixed greens

Sliced veggies ((cucumber, red bell pepper, radish, etc.))

Rinsed and drained black beans

A small blender works best for making this recipe as written. If using a large, upright blender, triple the batch. If you have a powerful blender, there’s no need to soak the sunflower seeds and you can proceed to the next step. If you do not have a powerful blender, soak sunflower seeds in hot water for at least 30 minutes, then drain.

To a small blender, add all ingredients (sunflower seeds, lemon juice, cilantro, garlic, salt, and water). Blend on high until creamy and smooth.

Taste and adjust as needed, adding more lemon juice for acidity, garlic for zing, fresh cilantro for herby flavor, sea salt to taste, or water to thin (keeping in mind it will dilute the flavor and the dressing will thicken once in the refrigerator).

We like serving on a simple side salad of mixed greens and sliced veggies. Black beans can be added for protein and fiber. Or serve over grain and veggie bowls!

Leftover dressing will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Not freezer friendly.

Creamy Cilantro Sunflower Seed Dressing | Minimalist Baker Recipes

Use this Creamy Cilantro Dressing with Salad, over Tacos, as a Dipping Sauce, and more! It's Dairy-Free, Vegan, and made with only 5 ingredients.

Creamy Cilantro Dressing

Cilantro, roughly chopped (stems and leaves)

Jalapeño Pepper

Lime

tbsp Unseasoned Rice Vinegar (or the juice of another ½ Lime)

Salt

Filtered Water

Rinse all of your Veggies. Use a knife to cut the sides of the Jalapeño pepper off, then roughly chop into 1&#8243; pieces. Remove the seeds of the Jalapeño Pepper and discard (if you would like the dressing to be spicy, you can leave a few in!)

Next, add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy, about 45-60 seconds.

Serve as desired; refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 7 days.

I've made this a bunch of times for my house and we are obsessed. So good on tofu, quinoa, beans, salads...pretty much everything.

Very Good and no oil! I was surprised how much flavor it had. My daughter and I get together on Saturdays to meal prep and picked this dressing for our taco salads, definitely will make this again! Thank you :)

This dressing is SO bomb!  It reminds me of the cilantro dressing from Trader Joe's which I have been craving and missing ever since going plant based.  I generously drizzled this over a crispy chili tofu bowl with avo, rice, peppers, corn, beans, and raw cabbage. LEVEL UPPP!

So so good! I love the fact that there’s no oil in it. Something I do is add garlic powder and onion powder to it too. I’ve dipped tortilla chips in this, had it as a salad dressing, and had it in my taco bowls!
