Butter spray,

refrigerated cinnamon rolls (such as Pillsbury)

This recipe is actually really good with a couple of small adjustments. I used 6 eggs, 3/4 cup of milk, and added 4 tablespoons melted butter. I let the mixture sit overnight so it soaked into the rolls and baked it the next morning. Making it the night before was really great because it's less work the next morning! I added the frosting to the top after baking while they were still super hot.

Tried it. I don’t think I’ll make it again. Too mushy and cook time and temp has to be a mistake. No way it would cook. Had to leave it in longer and eat still undercooked.

Temperature has got to be a mistake.  I had to cook it an extra 30 minutes before it even started to solidify.  And yes, my oven is new so that definitely wasn’t the problem.  After it finally did cook, everyone really liked it.

Ok so I did this today and took what everyone said.  So I did 400 degrees for 20, added the egg mixture.  But after 15 minutes I used a spatula to flip the bread so it doesn't  burn. I'm thinking, you don't really need the egg mixture. On the plus, my kids love it. I make fresh baked goods every Sunday.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then grease your 9x13 pan with cooking spray.

Dice up and place your cinnamon rolls in your baking dish. You can leave some rolls whole and dice up the rest to fill up the pan.

Warm up the frosting for 5-15 seconds in the microwave, remove the foil cover. Then stir and spread all over the cinnamon rolls.

Sprinkle on walnuts if you would like. Or skip if you don't want nuts.

Dump the flour part of the cake mix on top of the cinnamon roll mixture.

Then slice the butter thin, and place all over the cake. Then sprinkle with the cinnamon mixture portion of the cake mix.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until done.

Once done you can take the frosting that came with the cinnamon rolls to drizzle over the top of the dump cake.

Cinnamon Roll Bites

milk (about 115 degrees F, 4 ounces)

egg (at room temperature)

butter

sugar (50 grams)

salt

all-purpose flour (divided, 293 grams)

salted butter (2 ounces)

brown sugar (55 grams)

salted butter (melted, 4 ounces)

heavy cream** (4 ounces)

sugar (130 grams)

heavy cream (2 ounces)

vanilla extract

Pour the warm milk in the bowl of a stand mixer and sprinkle the yeast overtop.

Add the eggs, butter and sugar. Mix until combined.

Add in salt and flour. Mix using the beater blade just until the ingredients are barely combined. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes so the flour has time to soak up the liquids.

Scrape the dough off the beater blade and remove it. Attach the dough hook.

Beat the dough on medium speed. Knead for 5-7 minutes or until the dough is elastic and smooth. **The dough should be tacky and will still be sticking to the sides of the bowl. That&#39;s ok!

Spray a large bowl with cooking spray.

Use a rubber spatula to remove the dough from the mixer bowl and place it in the greased large bowl.

Cover the bowl with a towel or wax paper.

Set the bowl in a warm place and allow the dough to rise until almost double. I like to turn on the oven to the lowest setting for 1-2 minutes. Then turn off the oven and place the dough to rise in there. It normally takes about 30 minutes for the dough to rise. Do not allow the dough to rise too much.

Split off about 64 ¾” dough pieces. Roll into balls.

Toss dough balls in melted butter.

Place 1/2 cup brown sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag. Shake the dough balls in the bag with the sugar to coat them.

Place them in a greased 10” cast iron skillet. Set aside.

Make the dough:

In a small bowl, mix together the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Then pour butter/brown sugar/cinnamon mixture over the top of the dough balls. Let this rise for about 20 minutes.

Make the syrup:

Pour 1/2 cup heavy cream over the rolls. Or, for extra gooey rolls, wait until half way through baking to pour the cream on the rolls. This allows some of the cream to stay in the pan rather than get soaked into the dough. Either way works and we like both ways.

Heavy cream:

Bake at 350ºF for 27-29 minutes or until the cinnamon roll bites are baked through.

Bake the rolls:

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla extract.

Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.

Serve immediately.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container and warm them in the microwave to serve again.

Not a morning person? You can still have your cinnamon rolls and eat them too.

Overnight Cinnamon Roll Casserole

(1/2 stick) butter, melted

cinnamon rolls (12 rolls)

heavy whipping cream

sugar

nutmeg

Cream cheese frosting from cinnamon roll package

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375°F.

Pour melted butter into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Swirl around so it covers the bottom of the baking dish.

Arrange cinnamon roll pieces in baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg. Pour over cinnamon rolls.

If making ahead: cover dish with foil and chill until ready to use, up to overnight.

When ready to bake, bake until rolls are cooked through but soft in the center, 30-35 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes.

Pour icing from cinnamon roll package over casserole, serve, and enjoy!
