This coconut margarita recipe is the cocktail you didn't know you were missing! It's zingy and creamy, pairing lime and tequila with coconut. 

Creamy Coconut Margarita

coconut,

tequila blanco

triple sec (or Cointreau)

lime juice

cream of coconut (not coconut cream)

Ice, for serving (try clear ice)

Toast the coconut. Remove it from the heat and place it in a single layer on a plate. 

Add a bit of extra cream of coconut to a separate plate and dip the edge of the rim of the glass into it. Then dip the rim into the plate of toasted coconut.

Place the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and cream of coconut in a cocktail shaker and add one handful ice. Shake until cold. Strain the margarita into the glass with the coconut rim. Fill the glass with ice and serve.

For a pitcher

add 2 cups tequila, 1/2 cup triple sec, 1/2 cup lime juice, and 1 cup cream of coconut to a pitcher. Add 3 handfuls ice and stir. 

Coconut Margaritas feature fresh orange and lime juice, cream of coconut, tequila, and orange liqueur. The perfect summer cocktail to keep you cool on a hot day!

Coconut Margaritas

c Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (about 4 oranges + extra for garnish, if desired)

c Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice (about 5 limes)

c Cream of Coconut

oz Tequila

oz of Orange Liqueur

Have ready 4 low-ball/rocks glasses filled to the top with ice.&nbsp;Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with 1 cup of ice and shake thoroughly.&nbsp;

One at time, place a fine-mesh sieve over the top of each glass to strain the coconut, if desired, and carefully pour over the top.&nbsp;

Garnish with an orange slice, serve and enjoy.

This Cherry Margarita recipe puts a twist on the classic cocktail using fresh cherries and a little maraschino liqueur.

Cherry Margarita

cherries,

tequila ((I used a silver tequila))

maraschino liqueur ((I used Luxardo brand))

agave nectar

fresh cherry or lime wedge

add ice to a cocktail glass and set aside. muddles the cherries in a cocktail shaker

Prepare your favorite lowball cocktail glass with fresh ice. Place the cherries in a cocktail shaker and muddle them with a muddler until nice and crushed.

pour in the remaining ingredients with fresh ice and shake to combine. Pour into the prepared glass, garnish and enjoy!

Add the tequila, maraschino liqueur, lime juice, agave nectar, and ice and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into the prepared cocktail glass and garnish. Cheers!

These frozen coconut margaritas are the best!  Creamy coconut and tart lime blended over ice with coconut tequila and served with sweet toasted coconut rim, you will be obsessed with these cocktails!

Frozen Coconut Margaritas

crema de coco (15-ounce can)

coconut milk ((½ of a 13.5-ounce can))

coconut tequila

ice cubes (about 2 trays)

coconut flakes

agave

Toast the coconut: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the coconut flakes in a single layer on a sheet pan.  Toast for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring every 5 to 7 minutes, until golden brown.  The shredded coconut will toast fast, so keep an eye on it!  Let it cool before using, this allows the coconut to get a little crunchy and stick to the glass better.

Make the margaritas:  In a blender, add the crema de coconut, coconut milk and lime juice.  Blend on low speed for 10 to 15 seconds until combined.  Add the tequila and ice and blend on high speed for 1 minute or until the ice and margarita are smooth and slushie.

Garnish the glass and serve:  Rim the outside lip of the glass with agave, then gently press into the toasted coconut.  Pour the frozen coconut margaritas into the glass and serve right away!

Oh my, these are dangerous and delightful and the same time!!!!!
