Loved this! I substituted pecorino romano which was delicious. I would recommend transferring the pasta straight from the water without straining, and adding pasta water as needed to thin the sauce a bit. I will also try it with less sour cream since I was hoping for a stronger pumpkin flavor. I also used the sage oil to sautee the onions and garlic and left a few pieces in with the sauce to incorporate that flavor more! Definitely going to make this again!

I could eat these burritos every day, they are so good. Only thing I changed after trying them exactly as the recipe says, I switched to Goya yellow rice instead of white rice. I always make extra rice and some refried beans for the side.

Very flavorful! I have a large family so I decided to double the recipe, but it turned out great. I didn't double the amount of chicken stock but I doubled everything else. If you are going to have leftovers the next day, I would suggest having extra chicken stock in the fridge so you can add it to the risotto because it did get a little dry.

I made this last night and omitted the chicken because I was making pork chops. I also lowered the amount of grated cheese to 1 cup - there was no chicken in it.   It was really good - a perfect side dish along with the pork chops. A repeater!!

Wow! This recipe is simply delicious. It tasted like a gourmet meal, and yet, it took no time to cook at all! While I haven't yet tried this meal with the cream (I was freshly out) I can definitely say that the recipe did not disappoint despite the missing ingredient. I assume the original recipe is much more like a creamy casserole. However, my meal turned out to taste like something akin to a extravagantly topped chicken breast (which was absolutely delicious)! AND on top of the great taste, this meal is so nutritious a includes so many superfoods! I DEFINITELY recommend this recipe.

Just made it and it was delicious perfect consistency!

I found that some people in the comments said that their sauce turned into a mess. Same here! But here is how I saved it. It's really simple if you've got the equipment.

Method: remove the curdled sauce from the heat and use a stick blender to blend until relatively smooth. Season to taste. 

End result: isn't the smoothest sauce, but it sure is delicious! Definitely better than throwing the whole thing out :)!

This was excellent! It’s definitely not a 20 minute recipe unless you have a sous chef! Everyone loved it! It’s fast cooking, prep your ingredients first, I added a little extra flour to thicken.  Also I added the parm an geek yogurt last  think before I served it and it melted beautifully.  I would never guess it wasn’t made with cream and butter!

This recipe worked really well. One thing I added was my tony chachery seasoning as well as shredded chicken.  The other thing I did was continue heating the sauce as I added in the parmesan cheese and Greek yogurt and the pasta water.  It was perfect.

This recipe was great!! I used sour cream in place of the yogurt and it came out great. I didn’t have a whisk available but I continually stirred while adding all the ingredients slowly and it came out the perfect consistency. I also added pan seared chicken and used the same seasonings as for the sauce, and some peas. Will be making again

1 star! 🤢Followed the recipe to a T. Sauce hardly thickened, had to add extra cheese and simmer much longer than it said to. After mixing it all together, it was flavorless. Had to add extra salt, pepper, chili flakes, and even added garlic powder and onion powder. Would not recommend this recipe.

I tried this out and I did not have a issue with it thickening, but using this sauce with hearts of palm was not a great mix and ended up very bland.

Add 2 tablespoons of corn starch and then bring to a boil and then add pasta and is perfect!

Love this recipe we did not do you all of the less fat and 1% milk things we just did the regular stuff and it was amazing 😉. But one thing I would say to do is add lots of garlic when every thing was cooked .

When cheese has begun to melt, top the tomatoes and bacon with another bread slice, mayonnaise-side up. Flip occasionally until both sides are golden brown. Serve immediately.

Bring an 8-quart stock pot of water to a boil and generously season with salt. Cook pasta according to al dente package directions less 1 minute. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. Drain pasta without rinsing.

Meanwhile in a large skillet over high heat add 1 tablespoon olive oil and brown beef while breaking up with a wooden spoon, about 2 minutes. Reduce to medium heat. Season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Stir in garlic, onions, chili flakes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, parsley, and 1/2 cup pasta water. Simmer until meat is tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.

Toss in pasta and 1 cup mozzarella. Top with remaining cheese and cover with lid. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

definitely the easiest coziest fall lunch but the soup requires a lot of extra spices!! pumpkin is rather bland and I felt it needed a bit more. oh and roasted pumpkin seeds on top for sure!!

Delicious soup! I added some cayenne pepper and topped with fresh ground pepper for a bit of spice and used 3 cheese bread for the grilled cheese croutons. My husband went nuts for this soup! Very quick and easy to make. Serves 2-3 people so I’d recommend doubling for a larger group.
