I wanted to see if I could replicate my favorite brown sugar bon bon to share as a holiday treat and the result was a perfect Copycat See's Bordeaux!

Using a heavy bottom saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium high heat and bring to boil. Allow to boil for about two minutes.

Stir in cream, instant coffee, and salt and allow to come to a boil again for about 30 seconds while stirring constantly to avoid scorching. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Add sifted powdered sugar to mixture and stir in well until a consistent dough is formed. Chill until mixture holds shape similar to play dough, about 2 hours.

Roll sugar dough into 2-inch balls and set on a wax paper lined sheet. Freeze for about 10 minutes for easier dipping.

Melt chocolate and butter at 50% power in 1 minute increments in microwave, stirring after each minute, until melted.

Dip candy balls into melted chocolate and allow to set on the wax paper. Either sprinkle with chocolate cake sprinkles or pipe a very thin stream of chocolate on top, if desired.

Store in airtight container.

The 1981 Salad or The 1905 Salad or The Best Salad Ever

grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

To make the dressing, whisk the olive oil, garlic, oregano, and Worcestershire sauce together in a medium bowl. Gradually add the vinegar while whisking briskly to create an emulsion. Add the lemon juice and continue to wisk. Add salt and pepper to taste. Listed amounts are just suggestions. Use immediately or allow the flavors to develop in the refrigerator.

When ready to assemble the salad, combine the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, ham, green olives, and artichokes in a large bowl. Whisk dressing together once again. Add the desired amount of dressing and toss to coat. Add the romano cheese and toss again. Serve immediately.

FOR THE GARLIC LIME RICE: Rince the rice in a fine mesh strainer under cold running water for 2 minutes, using your fingers to rub the rice to remove any starch, set aside. Heat the butter in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the rinsed rice and allow to toast for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently so the rice doesn’t stick or burn. Add the garlic, continue to cook for 30 seconds or until the garlic is fragrant. Add the chicken broth, salt, and lime juice and allow to come to a boil, stir just once to break up lumps. Cover, reduce heat to low and allow the rice to cook for 12-15 minutes or until the water dries up. Let stand for 5 minutes before adding cilantro and fluffing with a fork.

This IKEA Swedish Meatball recipe features all the great flavors of the classic restaurant version! Tender meatballs in a creamy gravy served with mashed potatoes, broccoli and lingonberry sauce. If you ever have a craving for this dish, there is no need to make a trip to IKEA. You can make them at home and enjoy them anytime!

IKEA Swedish Meatballs Copycat Recipe

beef

tsp All Spice powder

tsp black pepper

Olive oil

tbsp butter

tbsp all purpose flour

vegetable broth

beef broth

milk (or cream)

soy sauce

Dijon mustard (optional, do not substitute with regular yellow mustard)

In a small bowl combine the bread (or panko breadcrumbs) with the milk. Mix until evenly coated. Set aside.

In a large bowl  add the ground beef, ground pork, minced onion, garlic, soaked bread, egg, nutmeg, All Spice, salt, pepper. Gently mix together until evenly combined. Tip: do not overmix or compact the meat too much or the meatballs will be tough.

Using a tablespoon, measure out a heaping tablespoon (or use ice cream scooper) and place on a parchment paper lined sheet pan. Repeat with remaining mixture. Gently roll each meatball into shape. Optional: cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Or, freeze to be cooked at a later time. This recipe will make 36 - 40 meatballs.

STOVE TOP COOKING METHODAdd a splash of cooking oil to a frying pan on medium heat. Working in batches, add the meatballs to the pan and brown on all sides, about 5 - 8 minutes. OVEN BAKING METHODPreheat oven to 400°F. Bake the meatballs on the parchment paper lined sheet for 20 - 25 minutes, or until cooked through.AIR FRYER COOKING METHODPreheat Air Fryer to 400°F. Working in batches, add the meatballs to the air fryer (leaving a small space between each meatball). Air fry for 8 - 12 minutes or until cooked through.

Meatballs

In a large frying pan or skillet on medium heat melt the butter.

Whisk in flour and stir continuously for 2 - 3 minutes, or until until golden in color.

Add in the vegetable and beef broth, stirring continuously until evenly combined.

Add the milk, soy sauce and Dijon mustard. Stir until evenly combined.

Add in the cooked meatballs and simmer for 4 – 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, lingonberry sauce or cranberry sauce and enjoy!

Apple Pecan Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette

spring mix

EverCrisp Apples, cored and thinly sliced

blue cheese crumbles

cranberries

water

pecan halves

cinnamon

apple cider vinegar

white vinegar

pineapple juice

honey

garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small skillet over medium heat, add the butter, brown sugar, salt, and water.  Stir until the butter and sugar has melted. Add the pecans and cook, stirring very frequently, for about 3 minutes - being cautious not to allow the mixture to scorch.

Remove from the heat and add the cinnamon. Stir to combine. Spread the pecans on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Allow to cool completely before using on salad.

To make the candied pecans:

Whisk the oil, apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, lime juice, and pineapple juice together. Add the honey, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder and whisk to combine. Set aside.

To make the dressing:

Add the spring mix to a large bowl and top with the apples, blue cheese, candied pecans, and cranberries. Drizzle with the desired dressing amount, then toss and serve.

For the salad:

This chicken dinner is a dish the whole family will love. It&#39;s great for a weeknight meal as it comes together quick but it&#39;s fancy enough for a romantic dinner or special occasion.

Chicken Costoletta Cheesecake Factory Copycat

chicken breasts (boneless skinless, or 8 chicken cutlets)

all purpose flour

tsp pepper

eggs

breadcrumbs

parmesan cheese (grated)

tbsp extra virgin olive oil

tbsp flour (all purpose)

garlic (minced)

lemon juice

Dijon mustard

lb red skin potatoes (cubed,

sour cream

garlic (finely minced or grated, optional)

salt and pepper (to taste)

asparagus (woody ends trimmed)

Carefully slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise to create 2 cutlets. Use a meat mallet to pound the cutlets to an even 1/4 inch thickness.

Preheat oven to 200°F or turn on ‘keep warm’ setting. Line a sheet pan with a wire rack (optional). Plate the sheet pan in the oven.

Prepare the dredging station with 3 shallow bowls. In the first, stir together the flour, salt and pepper. In the second bowl, add the eggs and whisk. In the third bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs, lemon zest and parmesan cheese.

Coat each chicken cutlet by first dipping in the flour, then the eggs and finally the seasoned breadcrumbs. Use your hands to press the breadcrumbs into the chicken to ensure an even layer.

PAN FRYING COOKING METHODAdd the oil and butter to a large frying pan over medium heat. Once the butter is fully melted, working in batches add the coated chicken cutlets to the pan. Fry on each side for about 4 – 5 minutes or until cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).AIR FRYER COOKING METHODPreheat Air Fryer to 400*F. Generously spray each coated chicken cutlet with cooking spray. Working in batches, air fry the chicken for 4 – 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).

Transfer the cooked chicken cutlets to the sheet pan and keep warm in the oven while cooking the remaining chicken.

Repeat the cooking process until all chicken is cooked through.

Prepare the Chicken

Place the potatoes in a large pot and add enough cold water to cover them by 1 inch. Add 1 tbsp of salt to the water. Bring the water to a simmer over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork tender.

Drain the potatoes in a strainer and set the strainer over the hot pot to evaporate the excess water. Put the potatoes back in the pot, and reduce the heat to low. Add the garlic and butter. Mash the potatoes until they are nearly smooth.

Stir in the sour cream and milk to create a creamy consistency. Season to taste with salt.

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Add the asparagus to a steamer pot and steam until tender, about 5 – 10 minutes depending on thickness. Alternatively, you can oven bake or air fry the asparagus while the chicken is cooking.

Prepare the Asparagus

In a small sauce pan over medium low heat add the butter. Once melted add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add in the flour and whisk until the flour has browned.

Whisk in the milk, lemon juice and Dijon mustard. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened, stirring continuously.

Prepare the Sauce

Add a scoop of mashed potatoes to a plate. Serve the chicken cutlets and asparagus on the side. Drizzle the lemon sauce on top and enjoy!

Chicken Costoletta Cheesecake Factory Copycat Recipe

These delicious carmelitas bars are perfect to bake and bring along to any get together. Inspired by the Potbelly Dream Bar.

Caramelitas (Oatmeal, Chocolate, and Caramel Gooey Bar Cookies)

butter (melted,

vanilla

flour

old fashioned oats

baking soda

chocolate chips

can of dulce de leche

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Whisk vigorously until well combined.

Add in flour, oats, salt, and baking soda and stir with a spatula until the dough comes together.

Coat the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish with butter. Take half of the dough and spread it with your hands or a spatula evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.

Place into oven and bake for 10 minutes.

1-2 minutes before taking out the bottom layer, warm your dulce de leche in a microwave safe dish until it pours easily.

Remove baking dish with par-baked bottom layer and sprinkle chocolate chips carefully over the top. Drizzle the warm caramel on top of that.

Finish by crumbling the second half of the dough over the top in an even layer.

Place back in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until it is cooked through.

Allow to cool for 1-2 hours so that the bars can solidify before cutting.

Subway Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies Recipe

(111 grams) salted butter (softened)

oz cream cheese (room temperature)

(115 grams) granulated sugar

tsp vanilla extract

raspberry muffin mix

(114 grams) all-purpose flour

tsp baking powder

(100 grams) white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F (180° C).

Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add in sugar and mix until incorporated. 

Mix in egg and vanilla.

Add the muffin mix, flour, and baking powder to the bowl and combine. Stir in the white chocolate chips. The dough will be very sticky.

Scoop dough onto pan and cook for 12-14 minutes. The cookies are done when the edges start to brown just a tad.

Made these a few times now,  They really do taste just like the ones at subway ! Everyone loved them !!! And I tried them with blueberry mix as well they did not disappoint 😍

My family fell in love with these cookies. They are amazing. I tried them with blueberry muffin mix and zested lemon, very good but the Raspberry are my favotite.

Oh my goodness. They turned out perfect! Super easy to throw together too! They look and sound so fancy but are sooo easy. I had to order the muffin mix off Amazon. Do you think the Martha White brand 7oz strawberry muffin mix would work just as well? I got that originally since no where around me sold the mix listed in the recipe.. so now I’m curious if I could use that next time.

These cookies are so good. I’ve made them twice.  The second time I made them I pushed the center of the cookie dough after dropping it on the parchment paper with my thumb and filled it with a small amount of raspberry jam... made them really tasty.  I’m think if I rolled the scooped dough in crushed graham cracker crumbs then do the thumbprint it might me a take on raspberry cheesecake ...🤔

If you are having trouble finding the raspberry muffin mix in Jiffy brand, try Betty Crocker's or any other brand you can find in a 7 oz. pkg. Cranberry works well if you cannot find raspberry.

I ordered the Jiffy online so I could make these cookies. They are delicious!!! Will definitely make again.

I am sooo happy I found this copycat recipe!  I bought these from Subway 2 days ago for the first time. OMG they are sooooo  AWESOME!!  I am making these tomorrow and plan on taking them to my brother's birthday party I know they will be a hit!!  Oh yeah I use salted butter in my baking as well.  I saw one of the cooking shows and they spoke about which to use and the baker said to use salted.  Because a pinch of salt brings out the flavor in foods.  This would be a great one to try one of each to see if that is true.  So thrilled I found you!!
