In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, and cook until it’s softened, 3-4 minutes. Divide the cooked garlic in half.

Make the garlic butter: In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, half of the cooked garlic, and ½ teaspoon of the Old Bay seasoning. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, crushed Ritz crackers, lemon zest, lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of the Old Bay seasoning, the parsley, and the remaining cooked garlic. Gently mix to avoid breaking up the crabmeat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet. Carefully cut a slit in the center of each fillet to create a pocket for the stuffing. Generously season the salmon with the remaining Old Bay seasoning and a little salt to taste.

Divide the crab mixture evenly among the fillets, pressing it into the pockets and mounding any extra on top. Pour some of the garlic butter over the top of the salmon.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven, and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is just cooked through and the crab filling is golden.

Remove from the oven, and brush the salmon with more of the garlic butter. Garnish with chives.

Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Salmon Recipe

oz cream cheese (softened)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, mix crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Cut a slit or pocket into each salmon fillet without cutting all the way through.

Season the salmon lightly with salt and pepper.

Gently stuff each fillet with the seafood mixture. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.

Place stuffed fillets into the baking dish and top with a lemon slice.

Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 125°F (52°C).

(Optional) Broil for the last 2 minutes for a golden, bubbly top.

This super easy Crab Stuffed Salmon is made with tasty salmon fillets and a homemade cream cheese and crab meat filling.

diced bell peppers ((red, green, or yellow peppers))

egg (lightly beaten)

bay seasoning

panko bread crumbs

cooking spray (for topping)

parsley (for garnish)

Prep. Preheat oven to 425˚F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the salmon. Arrange the salmon fillets on top of parchment paper and season them with salt and pepper. Cut a ¼-inch-deep pocket in the center of each salmon fillet. Set aside.

Make the crabmeat mixture. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped crabmeat, cream cheese, bell peppers, garlic, egg, parsley, and old bay seasoning; mix and stir until thoroughly combined.

Add the crabmeat mixture to the salmon. Stuff the salmon fillets with the prepared crabmeat filling. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of fillets and lightly spray the tops with cooking oil.

Cook. Transfer the stuffed salmon to the oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and the internal temperature registers at 130˚F.

Finish and serve. Remove from oven. Garnish the crab stuffed salmon with parsley, and serve.

Recipe sounds great ... born and raised by Chesapeake Bay ... I will have to omit the garlic in the crab meat!
