Learn the secret in my Crinkle Top Brownies recipe and get their irresistible crinkly, crispy top, every time.

Crinkle Top Brownies Recipe

(8 ounces 225 grams) butter ((melted))

vegetable oil ((coconut

eggs ((room temperature))

vanilla extract

(5 ounces 142 grams) all purpose flour

(4 ounces 115 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder

salt

½ cups (9 ounces 255 grams) roughly chopped bittersweet chocolate

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) then butter and line an 8x8 inch baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large bowl combine melted butter, oil, and both sugars.

In a separate, small bowl whip up the eggs by themselves and then add the beaten egg to the wet ingredients. Mix in until JUST combined. (The secret here is to under mix once the eggs go in.)

Add the vanilla and salt then whisk for about one minute until evenly combined and light in color.

Over the same bowl sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until JUST combined (do NOT over mix). Fold in half of the chocolate chunks.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan, then smooth the top. Generously top with the remaining chocolate chunks.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center of the brownies no longer jiggles and is JUST set to the touch.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature before removing from the baking tray and slicing into 16 brownies. Enjoy!

The Secret To Crinkle Top Brownies

Get ready for these incredible Crinkle Top Brownie Bites! They are the perfect quick sweet treat!

Crinkle Top Brownie Bites

unsalted butter,

white sugar

cocoa powder

eggs

all purpose flour

Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a mini cupcake tin with non-stick baking spray.

Melt the butter in a medium pot. Once melted, add the sugar, cocoa power and salt and mix until smooth. Remove from heat. 

Add the vanilla and eggs and combine. Add the flour and Chocolate chips until no more flour is visible.

Using a spoon, scoop the brownie mixture into the mini cupcake tins and bake for 12-15 minutes. Run a knife along the edge of the mini Crinkle Top Brownie Bites to lift it out of the pan and let cool on a cooling rack before serving.
