Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken. Slow cooked chicken in a sweet and tangy Asian inspired sauce.

Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

boneless skinless chicken breasts (2 pounds)

soy sauce

honey

hoisin sauce

rice wine vinegar

sesame oil

ginger (grated)

garlic (minced)

sriracha

scallions (sliced thin, divided (white parts

water

cornstrach

sesame seeds for garnish (if desired)

Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.

In a medium bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey, hoisin, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, sriracha and the white parts only of the scallions.

Pour the sauce mixture ontop of the chicken and cook for 2-3 hours on low. (Cooking time depends on the thickness of your chicken. My chicken breasts were pretty small and took 2 1/2 hours.)

Remove the chicken from the liquid and place on a plate or cutting board. Allow the chicken to rest for a couple of minutes and then shred with two forks or slice it up with a knife.

Transfer the liquid from the slow cooker to a small saucepan.

Whisk 2 tablespoons of water with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce.

Cook on high until bubbly and thickened, whisking constantly. Pour the sauce back in the slow cooker along with the shredded chicken and toss to coat.

Serve immediately with sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.

What better way to warm up then to combine the two and serve it in a bowl. A big bowl of baked potato soup is packed full of chunks of tender potatoes, smoky bacon with a rich creamy broth.

Crock Pot Loaded Potato Soup

bacon (cooked crispy, drained well and crumbled)

milk

cornstarch

sour cream

cheddar cheese

sour cream (optional topping)

Prep

Combine

Add the chicken broth, diced onion, salt and pepper to the potatoes and stir to combine.

Slow Cook

Place the lid on the slow cooker and turn the heat on high. Cook for 4 to 8 hours until the potatoes are fork tender.

Thicken

In a small bowl mix the cornstarch and milk together until the cornstarch has dissolved. Pour the milk into the crock pot with the cooked potatoes and stir well.

Add the shredded cheddar cheese,  sour cream and the crumbled bacon (reserve 1/4 cup of bacon bits for a garnish) to the crock pot. Stir with a large spoon to combine.

Cook

Place the lid back on the crock pot and cook for 30 to 60 minutes longer to melt the cheese and the soup to thicken.

Serve

Serve once the cheese has melted. Top each serving with a dollop of sour cream, a sprinkle of bacon and some green onions if desired.

Add chicken thighs, heavy cream, chicken broth, cream cheese, butter and seasonings to a crockpot. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours or until chicken is tender and fully cooked.

Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred. Return back to the slow cooker along with the pasta and parmesan cheese. Cook on HIGH for 30 minutes or until noodles are tender.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately with fresh chopped parsley and extra parmesan cheese for serving, if desired.

Season chuck roast with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil over high heat in a medium skillet. Add in beef and brown on both sides, about 2 minutes a side. Remove from the pan and place in the slow cooker.

Add onions and garlic to the skillet and saute for 2-3 minutes or until browned. Remove from the pan and add to the slow cooker.

Add in 1 1/2 cups beef broth and Italian seasoning to the skillet and deglaze the pan scraping up brown bites. Pour broth into the slow cooker.

Add in Worcestershire sauce and stir to combine everything. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is fall apart tender.

Remove the chuck roast from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.

Add dry uncooked egg noodles to the slow cooker. Add in an additional 1/2 cup of beef broth or more as needed. Cover and cook on high for 20-25 minutes or until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

Stir in sour cream and add in the shredded beef back to the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately with parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley, if desired!

Add the chorizo mixture into the crockpot along with the lentils, carrots, tomatoes, jalapeño, salt, ancho powder, oregano, smoked paprika cumin broth, molasses and cinnamon sticks.

With the lid on, cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6 hours.  Add in the green peppers in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
