Red Hot Fluff is a vintage &quot;salad&quot; featuring cinnamon along with those classic ingredients of crushed pineapple, Cool Whip and mini marshmallows.  Cinnamon Imperials (also known as Red Hots) melt into crushed pineapple to form a sweet, cinnamon base before adding the fluffy marshmallows and whipped topping.

Red Hots candy

mini marshmallows

whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Combine drained pineapple and Red Hot candies in a bowl; cover, and refrigerate overnight.

The next day, stir in mini marshmallows and whipped topping.

Chill until ready to serve.

Pineapple Bars

butter (softened)

sugar

eggs

flour

baking soda

salt

pineapple (well-drained)

sugar (for garnish)

In a large bowl, mix together butter, sugar and eggs.

Beat in flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir in pineapple.

Spread into a greased 9x9 square pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 28-33 minutes until done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares. Serve.
