Slice off the ends of the cucumbers and peel. Chop into a few larger pieces.

Place the cucumbers, water, lemon zest, lemon juice and mint in a food processor or in a blender. Blend the ingredients for 2-3 minutes until smooth.

Set a strainer over a larger bowl and pour the cucumber juice into the strainer. Use a spatula to move the juice through the strainer until no more juice strains out. Discard the solids.

Enjoy the cucumber juice immediately, or store in fridge for up to 24 hours.

How to Make Cucumber Lemonade / Limeade

Prepare the simple syrup if you&#039;re using one.

Juice the cucumber using one of these three methods (juicer, blender, or grater).

Prepare the lime juice. If you plan on garnishing the glasses, you can optionally zest one (or more) of the limes first, then juice the limes either using a citrus press or by hand. If doing it by hand, it can be a good idea to roll it on the counter a few times to loosen the juice and even pop them in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. This will make it easier to squeeze out all the juice manually.You can zest all the citrus and save the zest in the freezer to use later within baked goods, compound butter, infused oil, cooking, etc.

To prepare the mint, you can roughly chop it or chop it into ribbons, as I did. To do so, I rolled the leaves up and use scissors (though a knife would also work) to slice them into ribbons.You can slightly muddle the herbs to make them release their flavor even more.

Add all the ingredients to a large jug/pitcher - the cucumber juice, citrus juice (I add the pulp as well), syrup, and mint, and stir well. Optionally top up with ice before serving! Feel free to add a few extra cucumber slices to the glass/ pitcher too.

Ready to enjoy! To decorate glasses, dip the rim of each glass into some honey or another sticky syrup, then some coconut and lemon/lime zest. Add some cucumber lemonade to each glass and serve – enjoy!

Cucumber lemonade is best consumed within 1-2 days for the freshest flavor. Especially as there are fresh herbs used. If serving over two days, it may be an idea to strain the mint and add fresh mint on the second day.To avoid watering down the entire batch, add ice-cubes to any glasses when serving rather than to the whole pitcher. You can also use frozen berries instead of ice to help chill the cucumber lemonade.

How to make cucumber juice with a juicer, blender, or machine-free! Cucumber juice is tasty, refreshing, and packed with hydration and health benefits! Best of all, there are three ways to get the cucumber juice; with and without a juicer!

How to Make Cucumber Juice (3 Methods)

No matter which of the below methods you choose to use, you should wash the cucumber well.

Cut the cucumber enough to fit the chute of your juicer, and then feed it into the machine. And it's as simple as that!

With a Juicer

Roughly chop the cucumber into small-ish pieces (which will make it easier to blend). This method is best used by those with a high-powered blender. Otherwise, you may need to add a little extra water to the machine to help you blend the cucumber down into a smooth-ish pulp (this will depend on how many cucumbers you&#039;re using). I recommend adding ½ cup of water, to begin with, and increasing if needed – as you don&#039;t want to water the fresh cucumber juice down too much.This can take up to 2 minutes based on the strength of your machine and how smooth you want the pulp.

When ready, transfer the pulp to a sieve, layers of cheesecloth, or a nut milk bag and squeeze out as much juice as possible.

With a Blender

This is the best way I&#039;ve found to juice cucumber without a juicer. Using a grater, grate your cucumber. You could alternatively try to chop it very finely, but grating yields the best results (and is faster to do).

Then transfer the cucumber to either cheesecloth or nut milk bag and twist and squeeze to get out as much liquid as possible.Salting the cucumbers and allowing them to rest can encourage them to release extra liquid. However, it also means you have salty cucumber juice – so this is a step I avoid.

How to use the leftover pulp? The pulp can be collected to make a dish like tzatziki or added to smoothies and other dishes. If you don&#039;t want to use it immediately, you can divide the pulp into an ice-cube tray and freeze it for longer-term storage. For smoothies, just place a few ice cubes in the blender along with your other ingredients.

With a Grater

Almost all fresh juices are best consumed immediately to make the most of all the nutrients. However, any leftover cucumber juice will store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a day.Alternatively, you can freeze the juice. However, this will affect some of the nutrients – so fresh is always best. To freeze the juice, though, I recommend pouring it into large silicone ice-cube trays (portioned) and then transferred it to a freezer-safe bag/container for up to a month. That way, you can take out just as much as you need each time.

So simple and hydrating. If you're just starting out and need a little sweetness, add 1/2 a Granny Smith Apple. Reduce it slowly to just cucumber and lemon. Many of my clients love this one for its simplicity and to improve their skin, hair, and nails. You can add a handful of parsley (stalks and all) to try a slightly different, fresh herbal flavor that adds minerals and helps purify your blood.&nbsp;
