This guilt-free chocolate caramel slice is a sweet treat even the kids will enjoy.

Nutty chocolate caramel slice

(1 1/2 cups) rolled oats

(1/2 cup) pecans

(about 5-6) pitted medjool dates

(1/4 cup) desiccated coconut

cinnamon

milliliters (1/4 cup) extra virgin coconut oil

maple syrup

(1 3/4 cups) roasted peanuts

milliliters (1/4 cup) coconut milk or coconut cream

tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

tsp vanilla extract

(about 1) peeled banana, broken into pieces

dairy-free dark chocolate,

macadamia oil

All during fall, I eat as many pumpkin-flavored things as I can! These amazing pumpkin brownies are one of them! Super simple to make and so delicious! I guarantee you that no one will even notice these moist and chocolatey brownies are vegan!

Easy Pumpkin Brownies Recipe

flour

cocoa powder

baking powder

salt

pumpkin puree

vegetable or canola oil

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease baking 9x9 inch (17x17 cm) pan.

In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients together thoroughly until completely smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until the cake is almost set but the center wobbles slightly. (The brownie should be moist on the inside but now raw).

Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan.

When it is completely cooled, cut into squares and enjoy.

How to make chocolate in just 10 minutes: This homemade chocolate requires just 3 base ingredients, is simple to prepare, and super easy to customize. You can make your own vegan milk chocolate, dark chocolate, flavor it, or top it.

How To Make Chocolate (Dark or Milk)

cacao butter ((see notes))

cocoa powder ((I used Dutch processed))

1 1/2-2 Tbsp pure maple syrup ((room temperature, not cold))

tsp vanilla extract ((optional))

First, melt the cacao butter (finely chop it if it&#39;s in big pieces) over a double boiler, stirring/whisking often. Once melted, remove it from the heat.To prepare a double boiler, add a couple of inches of water to a small-medium saucepan and top it with a heat-proof bowl, ensuring the water doesn’t come in contact with the bowl, then bring the water to a gentle simmer over medium to medium-low heat.

Stir in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract (if using) and whisk until lump-free.

Pour the homemade chocolate mixture into the silicone mold of your choice (using a silicone spatula helps to get it all out of the bowl) and leave it to set for several hours in the fridge or 20-30 minutes in the freezer.

When ready, release the homemade chocolate bar from the mold and enjoy!

How To Make Chocolate (3 Ingredients)

Although I first came up with this recipe because I had someone coming for supper who –genuinely – couldn’t eat wheat or dairy, it is so meltingly good, I now make it all the time for those whose life and diet are not so unfairly constrained, myself included.

A low-FODMAP serving is one small slice. If gluten-free flour is used to replace the ground almonds, this cake is ok for low-FODMAP diets. Make sure to check if your gluten-free flour is low-FODMAP, for example coconut flour is not.

150 milliliters/5fl oz regular olive oil,

cocoa powder, sifted

milliliters/4fl water

150 grams/5½oz ground almonds or 125 grams/4½oz plain flour (a gluten-free if required

½ tsp bicarbonate of soda

caster sugar

free-range eggs
