My Homemade Dunkin&#039; Donuts Chocolate Glazed Donut recipe is delicious, yeasted, fluffy, fried, and everything that makes a storebought Dunkin&#039; donut so good.

Homemade Dunkin' Donuts Chocolate Glazed Donut Recipe

¼ cups (16 ounces 454 grams) all-purpose flour

(2 oz/57 grams) granulated sugar

active dried yeast*

salt

+ 1 tablespoon (8floz/225 milliliters) whole milk

(2 ounces 57 grams) butter

vanilla extract

vegetable oil

Mix the flour, sugar, yeast*, and salt together in a standing mixer fitted with a dough hook.

In a measuring jug, heat together the milk and butter until the butter has melted. Stir in the vanilla.

Turn the machine on low and slowly add the milk mixture until your dough comes together to form a ball. If your dough is a little dry add a splash more milk.

Increase the speed to medium and mix until the dough is shiny and smooth, 6-8 minutes. The dough is supposed to be saggy.

Rub your mixing bowl with vegetable oil (or any flavorless oil) . Place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat lightly.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap tightly and let the dough rise until doubled, roughly 2 hours.

Once it has risen, turn out the fluffy dough onto a floured work surface. Roll out to ½ inch thick

Using a 3 inch round cutter, cut off your donuts circles. Dust your cutter in flour so it doesn’t stick to the dough. Then cut out the donut holes with a much smaller cutter. Re-roll and cut any leftover dough. You will get 12-14 donuts. TIP: You can prepare the donuts to this stage and put them in the refrigerator until the next day. When needed, take out and let me come to room temp and rise a little (roughly 30 minutes) and then fry off as instructed below.

Cover your donuts with cling film and let them rise at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.

Making the Donut Dough:

Pour around 2-3 inches of oil into a medium, deep pan.

Heat the oil over medium/high heat for a few minutes to heat up. If using a thermometer bring to 350oF (180oC).

When your oil is hot, drop 3-4 doughnuts at a time in the oil. Fry for about 2 to 3 minutes, until lightly browned on one side, then flip and fry until the other side is browned. Set aside on kitchen paper until you have cooked them all off.

Frying the Donuts:

Dunk the donuts while fresh and warm into the chocolate glaze one by one. Let the excess glaze drip off before placing on a wire rack to dry. Lastly, add some sprinkles on top.

Once the glaze dries I strongly urge you to eat them as fresh as possible because they are at their absolute best!

* Some Active Dry yeast will need to be sponged. This means stiring the yeast into the liquids to dissolve it/sponge it  before adding to the flour. Some Fast Acting Dry Yeast can be added to the flour, check the pack.

There's no need to make a run to the Dunkin' drive-thru when you can whip up their iced coffee in mere minutes right at home, and customize it to your liking.

instant coffee

Begin the recipe by making the coffee: Place the instant coffee and sugar into a large measuring cup along with the hot water.

Give the drink a stir. Leave in the fridge for 45 minutes to cool.

Once it is cool, pour into two separate glasses.

Finally, place 1/2 cup of ice cubes into each of the glasses and serve immediately.

Making donuts and munchkins from scratch can seem like an intimidating endeavor, but once you go homemade, it’s really hard to go back to store-bought. After you make the dough and let it rise overnight, you’ll cut the donut and donut hole shapes and fry them in a heavy pan. While they rest, whisk together the glaze and either drizzle over the donuts or dunk them in it. Add sprinkles if you want and enjoy your warm, fresh-baked treats — this recipe makes a lot of them!

Classic Glazed Donuts Recipe by Tasty

In a medium bowl, add the milk, sugar, and yeast, stirring to combine.

In a separate medium bowl, add the butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, stirring to combine.

Add the milk mixture to the egg mixture and whisk to combine. Transfer to a large bowl and add the flour in thirds, stirring between each addition.

Dump the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, until smooth. Gently poke the dough with a finger--the dough should bounce back up from the indentation.

Place the dough in a large bowl, and lightly coat the dough with oil. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.

Let the dough rise in a warm place for an hour, or until doubled in size.

Take the dough out and knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in an oiled bowl and repeat with rise overnight in refrigerator.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface until ¼ inch (6 mm) thick.

Cut out the doughnuts and donut holes with a cookie cutter and piping tip.

Melt enough shortening over medium heat to come up just 2 inches (5 cm) up on the side of a heavy frying pan. Heat the shortening to 375°F (190°C)

Fry the donuts and donut holes for 45 seconds on each side, or until golden brown.

In a bowl, combine the powdered sugar, dry milk powder, vanilla extract and hot water until smooth.

Strain the glaze through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any lumps.

Dunk the donuts in the glaze or drizzle the glaze on top.

Copycat Dunkin Donuts Egg Whte & Veggie Omelette Bites

1/4t salt

1/2t pepper

3T seeded diced tomato, 1/4" pieces

baby spinach leaves, chopped into 1/4" pieces

3T Four Cheese Blend

Cooking spray

Egg Patty

Large egg(s)

Water

Baking powder

Pam canola oil cooking spray

Salt and pepper,

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Choose a round, oven-safe glass or ceramic bowl with a flat bottom. This diameter of the flat, bottom part of the bowl will be the size of the egg patty.

Spray the round, oven-safe glass or ceramic dish with cooking spray. Note: Do not use metal bakeware.

Use the table below in &quot;Notes&quot; to find the corresponding number of eggs, water, and baking powder required based on the size of the egg patty.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the water and baking powder.

Add the egg and whisk vigorously until the mixture is fully combined and nice and even in color. This takes about a minute. You should no longer see any clear clumps (egg white).

Pour the scrambled egg mixture into the greased, round, oven-safe glass or ceramic dish. Refrain from adding more egg than recommended as the egg will start to crawl up the sides of the pan.

See the table in the &quot;Notes&quot; section below for suggested baking time. Use this time as a guide only, as cook time varies widely based on the type of dish used. We recommend peeking at the egg a couple minutes early, then checking on the egg every minute until done. The egg is done when the center of the egg is set/dry to the touch. Note: we found porcelain bakes faster than glass and stoneware.
