easy chicken tenders

<p>These southwest chicken tenders are sure to please all the eaters in your house. They are full of flavor but not spicy. </p>

Southwest Chicken Tenders

avocado oil or olive oil

apple cider vinegar

cilantro

chili powder

garlic powder

oregano

cumin

salt

black pepper,

chicken tenders

Combine all ingredients except the chicken tenders in a large zip top bag and shake. Add chicken tenders and shake again. (Freezing instructions begin here.)

Place bag in a dish and set in the refrigerator. Let chicken marinate for 2 and up to 24 hours, occasionally turning the bag to evenly distribute the marinade.

Cook the chicken using one of the following two methods. Chicken is done when you cut into it and there is no more pink or it registers 165°F internally. Do not overcook. 

OPTION ONE: GRILLING &#8211; Grill chicken tenders over medium-high heat for about 4 minutes per side. 

OPTION TWO: BAKING &#8211; Bake at 425°F for about 15 minutes, flipping half way through.

BBQ Lime Chicken

c. all-purpose flour

lb. chicken tenders

c. panko bread crumbs

eggs

Kosher salt

black pepper

barbecue sauce

brown sugar

limes

Ranch dressing, for serving (optional)

Excellent! Everyone loved it! Sauce was delicious. I made mine with beer battered chicken instead because I didnt have any pablo. Adding this to the menu! Thanks!!

The was a hit!  I cut down on the brown sugar. I used 1/2 cup . It was really sweet. Will be making this again but, I would sub out the Panko bread crumbs for regular.  They do not brown.

I make this all the time! My husband and I love it. For our grandsons who like a little heat, I cut the brown sugar in half and add a good hot sauce.

Very nice flavor. Though i didnt like the texture of the crust. I will probably do it a little different next time.

Not a joke about gateway recipe. I  made a smaller batch with scraps. Used sweet heat BBQ sauce from Stubb's which was a really good balance of sweet and hot (good figure). Just want to make sure to leave a review in case anybody was on the edge.

Made this, amazing.  So good my 3year old grand daughter ate 2 full tenders. Will make this many more times.

The panko on the chicken doesn't get very brown when you bake it and the sauce is horrible.  Way too much lime juice and super sweet. I used a spicy bbq sauce and still it was too sweet. Luckily I only coated a few tenders. I can see why they recommended the ranch because you  needed it to counter the horrible sauce. I do not find this addictive at all.

Crack more like WACK! At best this is an average BBQ sauce with too much lime. Luckily the tenders came out pretty good.
