Easy Chocolate Fudge

(12 ounces) semi sweet chocolate chips

sweetened condensed milk

tsp vanilla extract

Line a 9×9 square pan with parchment paper that covers the sides of the pan.

2. Place the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl and microwave for one minute. Stir well to combine and allow the heat to melt the chocolate chips. If needed, microwave for another 30 seconds or so, until the chocolate is completely smooth.

3. Stir in the vanilla extract, then quickly transfer the mixture to the lined pan and spread evenly.

4. Let the fudge cool completely to room temperature before cutting into squares. You could also refrigerate it until it’s cool. If you find that your fudge is a little sticky, refrigerate it before cutting into squares.

Cut the fudge and store in an air tight container. Fudge can be stored at either room temperature or the fridge.

This recipe is easy-peasy and yummy.  I have a question though, how do I print out your recipes?  I always have to write them down in order to keep them for later as there isn't a 'print' option included (that I can see).

This fudge does well in the freezer. I can say it last a while if u hide it from the people trying to eat it up... I make it about 2 weeks in advance for Christmas along with a variety of other homemade candies as well so I do the easiest first, the rest takes way more time and focus for me 😂. Also, if it comes in chip form (butterscotch, peanut butter, etc...), I use it and it all turns out well. My favorite is dark chocolate with pecans! This IS my first time using the microwave and well, it’s way easier than using a double boiler! Thanks so much!

I made the chocolate fudge and everyone loved it.

I’m sure this works normally, but I didn’t have chocolate chips so I used 1 and a half cups of caramel chocolate and 3/4 cup of milk chocolate, and I halved the condensed milk, so that it would harden properly. I refrigerated it and it didn’t harden fully. It wouldn’t come off the parchment and it was very sticky. It still tasted good.

I used this recipe and for some reason it didn’t set and stuck to the paper can you help with some answers as to what I may have done wrong. The only thing I did different was I used a double boiler to melt the chocolate in the condensed milk.

after making just the basic choc, i decided to step outside the box an make rocky road fudge.   winner!!!!!!   adding mini marshmallows and honey peanuts after a good blending really made this fudge amazing.  try it

I made this yesterday. We love it! So simple to make too.  Cooked one minute in microwave, stirred quickly, adding in vanilla. Set well. I did set it in freezer for an hour to speed up set time. Just a great fudge recipe. Looks and tastes like the best of them. Thank you so much for sharing.

I poured out a LOT of excess coconut butter, saving it to use later... but anyway, wow! I am shocked how good this is! It's a lot smoother and creamier than regular fudge, and the flaked sea salt on top hits that sweet/salty combo wonderfully. This is absolutely delicious!! I recently got diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I was looking for a low carb dessert to satisfy my late night chocolate cravings but still manage my blood sugar throughout the night. I’ve also been trying to avoid artificial sugars and really focus on clean eating while pregnant so this dessert recipe seemed right up my alley. It taste just like chocolate fudge. It’s really delicious. I’ve done it two ways: placed in a pie dish and kept it in the fridge. Also I’ve placed it in silicone popsicle molds in the freezer to enjoy since I’m 8 months preggos in the heat of July. Both taste amazing. My husband is paleo and lactose intolerant and he loves that he gets to enjoy “ice cream pops” again.

Thanks for the time spent to develop and list this recipe.   First let me say that the texture and appearance of the finished product are great for fudge.  The coconut flavor is there, but if you like coconut in general to me it was not excessive.  
The biggest negative is the taste.  The bittersweet chocolate is overpowering and there is no sweetness at all.  Having made non-keto regular fudge, there is an expectation of a sweet treat.   Even after adding 1 &amp; 1/2 cups of stevia, the taste was still not good as reviewed by my family.  
I was making this for my diabetic father who still has quite the sweet tooth but I don't think he would get past the first bite.  
Possible solutions might include using semi-sweet morsels instead?  difference of1 gram of carbs per tbsp so probably increases the net carbs per fudge square by 1 gram.  Probably also benefit by adding an artificial sweetener, although at this point not sure which one would work best and how much.    Would love to hear suggestions from others.

Add the butter, both types of chocolate chips, and vanilla to an extra large mixing bowl.  Set aside. 

Line a 9×13'' pan with tin foil and set aside.

In a very large heavy saucepan, combine the evaporated milk, sugar, and marshmallows.&nbsp;Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a boil.

Keep the heat on medium and stir constantly, being cautious to constantly scrape down the sides of the pan and along the bottom of the pan as you stir (this will help the sugar dissolve and not be grainy, and keep anything from burning to the bottom or sides of the pan.)&nbsp;

Boil for about 10 minutes*--the fudge should be light golden brown in color. (If using a candy thermometer you will want to cook it to around 235-240 degrees F. Temperature will vary depending on altitude, humidity etc., but just watch the clock and make sure it boils for about 10 minutes).

Grease your foil-lined pan with cooking spray. 

Pour the hot mixture into the bowl with the chocolate chips and use an electric mixer to gently combine everything until melted and smooth. Pour into prepared pan.

Chill completely in the refrigerator. Once cooled you can pull up on the edges of the tinfoil to lift the entire slab of fudge out of the pan.&nbsp;

Cut into small squares, or I like to cut it into a few "bricks" that I wrap in tinfoil and give as gifts.  Store fudge wrapped tightly in the fridge so it doesn't dry out.

This fudge is the best I have had. Reminded me of a fudge I tried when I was little. I was planning on doing a fantasy fudge but the store was sold out of marshmallow fluff so I just melted the marshmallows with 1 tbsp of corn syrup so the marshmallows wouldn't harden back up. I followed the recipe exactly but there were not enough chocolate chips at all. Not sure if it's because I melted the marshmallows separately but the color was way too light. Ended up adding more which came out to be a whole bag but that sounds about right since other recipes call for 12-16 oz chocolate chips. All in all, i will be making this again!

I made this fudge last night. I added some mini marshmallows to the loaf pans (I like their dimensions as a finished product), and also roasted almonds and walnuts.  This is very similar to the Sees Candies fudge my mom would make in the 1960's.  
It was a little grainy, especially on the edges.   How do I avoid the graininess when making fudge.? I'm looking for lovely, velvety end products.

I do not get along with my candy thermometer and avoid fudge recipes that call for one.  So I was a little worried since this recipe says to boil it for a very specific four minutes.  
It turned out GREAT!  My only problem was my technique when it came to the peanut butter swirl.  Mine is more like a blotchy layer.  I think I warmed the peanut butter up too much.  But the fudge looks fine when it is cut up and on a tray, and more importantly, it is DELICIOUS.  And it makes a lot of fudge, too.  I saved half of it to put out on New Year's Day (so, tomorrow) when the kids come over for our big holiday dinner.  (Yes.  We do ours on New Year's Day.  It makes Christmas Day much more enjoyable if we are not in the kitchen for most of it)
Hopefully next time I make this fudge, my swirling technique will have improved.  That is on me, not the recipe.

I added this to my cookie platter for the holiday season to round it out and it was the PERFECT addition. I myself am not a huge fudge fan (read: hater) so this was my first foray into making fudge.
