Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in the bottom of a 2.5-3 quart (9x13&quot;) baking dish. [See Note 3].

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk. Whisk until combined - it may still be a little lumpy.

Pour sweet batter over the butter in baking dish. Do not stir.

Pour cherry pie filling over the batter. Do not stir.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or some whipped topping. Enjoy.

Easy Fruit Cobbler

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place butter into 9 X 9 pan and place pan into oven as it preheats. This melts the butter and lubes up the pan to prevent the cobbler from sticking.

Mix together the flour, sugar, and milk.

Once the butter is melted, and the oven preheated, pour the flour/sugar/milk mixture into the pan.

Add the can of undrained fruit, pie filling, or other fruit on top of the mixture.

Add extra sugar or cinnamon-sugar to the top if desired and place into oven.

Bake approximately 30 to 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the biscuit part is cook through. Baking time will depend on the fruit used and if it is frozen or not. Start checking after 30 minutes.

self rising flour

Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 8&#215;12 baking dish liberally with non-stick spray. Set aside.

Rinse blackberries and pat dry. Set aside.

In a large bowl whisk together 1 cup of granulated sugar, flour, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Then whisk in the butter until combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Add the blackberries evenly on top of the batter. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.

Bake for 55-60 minutes until the top is golden and crackly.

Allow to cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream if desired.

Excellent! Super easy and fast to make and delicious!  Served with vanilla ice-cream.  The crust has a nice chewy edge and the amount of blackberries is perfect to keep it moist.
