Cheesy&nbsp;Crock Pot Chicken and Rice makes dinner time not only easy but super delicious! Let your slow cooker do the work and come home to a delicious meal!

Cheesy Crock Pot Chicken and Rice

chicken breasts (thin sliced)

garlic salt

onion powder

black pepper

paprika

onion

garlic (minced)

white rice (cooked)

chicken stock

cream of mushroom soup

cream of chicken soup

mushrooms

cheese

parsley

Cook white rice and set aside.

Spray a 6qt crock pot lightly with non stick cooking spray.&nbsp; Add chicken breast and season with garlic salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika.&nbsp;

Add diced onion and minced garlic on top of chicken and pour in chicken stock, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup.&nbsp; Cover and cook on LOW 5-6 hours, or HIGH 3-4 hours.

30 minutes before done, add in sliced mushrooms and finish cooking.&nbsp; Once done add in cooked rice and cheese.&nbsp; Cover and let sit 5 minutes for cheese to melt, stir and garnish with parsley.&nbsp; Serve warm.&nbsp;

CHEESY CROCK POT CHICKEN AND RICE

This slow cooker taco pasta is one of my favorite family-friendly, make ahead dinner recipes! With ground beef, pasta shells, taco flavors and cheese, it&#39;s so comforting and satisfying. The best part is that it only takes 10 minutes to prep for the crockpot!

Easy Slow Cooker Taco Pasta

beef

salt and pepper

bell pepper (chopped)

can crushed tomatoes

jarred salsa (I used mild)

corn (drained)

taco seasoning

shell pasta shapes (uncooked) (whole wheat

cheddar cheese

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook the meat, crumbling it and stirring often, until browned. Drain off excess grease. Transfer beef to slow cooker.

Add the bell pepper, crushed tomatoes, salsa, corn, taco seasoning, and broth or water. Stir.

Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours. (There will be lots of extra liquid. Don&#39;t worry, the liquid will be absorbed later when you add the pasta.)

Stir in the pasta and press it all down into the liquid. Cook on high for 15-30 minutes. Pasta cook time will vary by slow cooker. (If you did the initial cook time on the low setting, it will take longer for the crockpot to heat up to high, so the pasta will take longer to cook.)

Stir in the cheddar cheese and serve. It&#39;s delicious with a spoonful of sour cream, chopped fresh cilantro and more shredded cheddar.

My family did not like this at all. It was too thick, even after adding extra liquid. I don't see the purpose of using a crockpot when you can cook it on the stovetop in a shorter amount of time. I won't be making this again.

Delicious.  I used some fire-roasted corn I had in the freezer, and fire-roasted tomatoes.  They added a nice flavor.

Made the vegetarian version last night and I will be making it again! I cut down on the pasta and added a can of chopped green chilies. So good! Froze the leftovers for lunch at work. Thank you!

Just made this again tonight and had to tell you that I used your taco seasoning recipe and it came out so good! Plus, I used fire roasted corn. I just love this recipe!

Loved this recipe! I made it in my small crock pot and just divided the ingredients in half. I added an onion as well. I may add spinach next time for some greens or avocado topping.
