Make this light, quick &amp; easy lemon sauce for pasta, fish, chicken or vegetables!

5-Minute Lemon Butter Sauce

Please read the entire post,

butter (, unsalted)

lemon juice (,about 2 large lemons

cornstarch ((add more for a thicker sauce))

salt (to taste)

Melt

Melt butter in medium saucepan on low heat

Whisk

Whisk in cornstarch until there are no lumps; turn the heat up a little, continue whisking 3 more minutes, until the mixture begins to combine;  remove from heat

Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes while continuously whisking

Add lemon juice in 1 teaspoon increments, whisking constantly; salt to taste; strain through a fine meshed strainer and serve

Lemon Butter Sauce

A quick and easy lemon sauce which works alongside your savoury creations. Our lemon sauce takes just a few basic ingredients and the result is a tangy delight full of lemon flavours. 

Lemon Sauce

lemon juice

water

tbsp caster sugar

tbsp rice vinegar

tbsp corn starch

Easiest Lemon Sauce

Add the lemon juice,

Add the lemon juice, sugar, rice vinegar and water to a small saucepan. Using a handheld whisk, mix all the ingredients until combined.

Place the saucepan over

Place the saucepan over low heat. Simmer for about 5 minutes, whisking every now and then to ensure the mixture doesn't stick to the pan.

Add in the cornflour,

Add in the cornflour, and continue to whisk until the lemon sauce has thickened up. If it's too thick, add a little more water. If you feel it's too thin, add a tad bit more cornflour.
