Overall great!, I made it twice with both salted and unsalted butter and it was fantastic both times, my children love it and even help me make it,just so they can serve more to themselves :)

So delicious!  I did not add basil or the pepper flakes, but I did throw in 2 smashed garlic cloves along with the salt.

This is an easy homemade tomato sauce that is bursting with flavor!

Oven or Air Fryer Easy Pasta Sauce

Preheat your Air Fryer to 350F / 180C and get your Air Fryer cake barrel pan ready.

Place tomatoes on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to quarter them (If large) or slice in half (if small).

Add tomatoes to a mixing bowl and stir in the ground allspice (pimento), dried oregano, and salt.

Transfer the tomatoes to the cake barrel pan and place in the preheated Air Fryer.

Cook for 18 minutes, stirring them a couple of times during roasting.

About 3 minutes before cook time ends, add in finely chopped green onions and balsamic vinegar and stir.

When done, remove the cake barrel pan from the Air Fryer, let cool, and then blend the sauce to your desired chunkiness/smoothness using an immersion blender. Or you can just mash with a fork.

How To Make Easy Pasta Sauce In The Air Fryer

Chef&#x27;s tip: the oven version will need a little oil.

Heat olive oil in a 12-inch saute pan over MEDIUM-LOW heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until onion has softened and is translucent. This Calabrian chili pasta has a creamy, spicy sauce made with Calabrian chilies and topped with creamy burrata cheese and fresh basil! It&#39;s the perfect easy weeknight meal that comes together in about 30 minutes!

Calabrian Chili Pasta

shallot (finely chopped)

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add in the shallots and garlic and cook until soft and aromatic, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the Calabrian chilies and tomato paste until smooth and continue to cook for another 2 minutes.

Slowly whisk in the heavy cream until fully combined, then reduce the heat to low. Stir occasionally and continue to cook until the sauce begins to simmer and thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Then stir in the parmesan and fresh basil.

While the sauce is cooking, go ahead and cook your pasta according to package directions. Make sure you heavily salt the water and cook the pasta for about 1-2 minutes less than the listed time for perfect al dente pasta!

Before draining, scoop out about ¼ cup of the starchy pasta water and set aside. Then drain the pasta (but do NOT rinse it).

Add the al dente pasta and pasta water to the sauce and toss gently to combine for 1-2 minutes or until the sauce thickens up and coats the noodles.

Since the pasta water is salty, I like to wait to salt the sauce until after I&#39;ve added in the pasta water and noodles. Once the noodles are coated in the sauce, taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

Serve immediately and top with creamy Burrata and an extra drizzle of Calabrian chilies if desired!

Before you start cooking, peel and finely dice the carrot. Dice the celery stalk, finely chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

B﻿ring a large pot with generously salted water to a boil.

Heat oil and butter over medium in a large heavy bottomed pot. Add onion, garlic, carrot and celery stalk. Cook for 5 minutes until soft and fragrant. Reduce heat if needed. Add pancetta and cook for 3 minutes.

Add ground meat mixture, break up into pieces with a wooden spoon and cook until it starts to brown. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Add &#x27;Nduja and continue to cook while stirring until the &#x27;Nduja is completely dissolved.

Pour in red wine and simmer for 3 minutes. Next stir in tomato paste, add puréed tomatoes and bay leaves. Stir and simmer for at least 15 minutes.

In the meantime, add spaghetti to the pot with boiling water and cook according to package instructions. Scoop up ½ cup of the cooking water right before draining the pasta.

serving

When ready, add milk and Parmesan to the sauce. Stir until combined. Toss with spaghetti and add a splash of cooking water, if needed. Enjoy!

This was by far the best spaghetti bolognaise I have ever tasted!
