I really liked this smoothie. It gave me a fresh tropical vibe. All my family loved it and thought it was very delicious! It was! We had it for breakfast, with lunch, and after dinner. I definitely plan on making it tomorrow. Because of this smoothie, I’m the chef of the family!

Okay, this was DELICIOUS!  I halved all the ingredients, because I only wanted to make one serving for myself for lunch.  It was probably the best smoothie I've ever had.  The only difference was that I used the Unsweetened Frozen Berry Medley from either Hyvee or Kroger (Mine had Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries and Strawberries and I used a half of cup of this), and used Nonfat, plain greek yogurt.  Per reading the comments, I added just a small squeeze of honey into it.  The consistency was perfect, and the sweetness was just right.  (Not overly sugary, just really pleasant).  I'll definitely be incorporating this recipe into my day.  Thank you!

Switched out the blackberries and raspberries for grapes, peaches, and strawberries because I didn’t have the other two. I decided to add the kale and some agave for sweetness. Turned out great!

I also add some cranberries, sugar and evaporated milk.

This was a wonderful and well crafted recipe. I enjoyed it, it felt good to be eating healthy. My only problem was that the smoothie was a little bitter does anyone have any alternatives for sugar to make the smoothie more sweet?

Tried this twice before I got it right the 3rd time. Added extra almond milk and a good scoop of sugar and it turned out great!

Green Kale Smoothie

kale leaves, (washed)

milk

honey, (or to taste)

Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender.

Blend on full strength until thoroughly incorporated, creamy, and smooth. If you want a thicker smoothie, blend in more ice cubes. For a thinner smoothie, blend in more milk.

Pour into glasses and serve.

If using a regular blender, first blend the milk and kale leaves until completely incorporated and smooth. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and continue to blend until creamy.

Chill

Chill in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight. Can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature. Keep in a lidded glass bottle in the fridge for up to three days.
