easy tofu skewers

Delicious sweet and smoky tofu skewers which can be quickly made on a grill pan. Enjoy a vegan bbq throughout the year. Our vegan skewers are made with Asian flavours , combined with red onion and sweet peppers.

Tofu Skewers

garlic

onion

ginger

caster sugar

brown sugar

tbsp chili flakes (extra hot)

soy sauce

tbsp rice vinegar

tamarind (concentrate)

tofu

red onions

red peppers

olive oil

Cut the tofu into

Cut the tofu into cubes. Add the cubes in the Thail Chili Sauce and let it marinate for around 15-20 minutes.

Cut the onion and

Cut the onion and red peppers into small cubes. Make sure they are roughly the same size as the tofu cubes.

Assemble the skewer. I

Assemble the skewer. I added a cube of tofu, a slice of onion, a small slice of pepper. I repeated this process until the skewer was full. In total, I managed to create 8 skewers.

Heat a little olive

Heat a little olive oil on a grill pan. Grill the skewers for around 2 minutes on each side. Serve immediately with the chosen sides.
