easy yogurt bread

This easy yogurt bread is soft and chewy. It tastes like traditional yeast bread but without all the work. The bread is just 2 ingredients and takes five minutes to prepare.

2 Ingredient Yogurt Bread

flour

vanilla yogurt

Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C). Line an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

Add flour and yogurt into a large mixing bowl. Mix with a spatula until you have a wet and sticky dough and no lumps of flour remain.

Add dough into the prepared loaf pan. Use your spatula to evenly spread the dough across the pan and level the surface.

Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the surface is lightly browned and the bread is fully cooked. When you apply pressure to the surface, it should bounce back. Let bread cool before slicing and serving.

Gave your recipe 5 stars after I made modifications to my liking. First attempt, was very difficult for me to thoroughly get flour mixed in. 
So in 2nd attempt, I used 3 cups yogurt as someone else suggested and I used plain yogurt, didn't care for taste with vanilla yogurt. However, was great for French toast.

 I also put yogurt in bowl FIRST, added 2 cups of flour mixed that and then added last cup of flour.  So my to easier to mix!!  Thanks for fantastic method. Love the plain yogurt version. Will be making many times now

I made your bread today, it was very easy and SO GOOD! I’ll definitely keep making it! I used King Arthur bread flour…has 4 grams of protein per 1/4 cup. I followed your directions as if it had 3 grams of protein and it turned out GREAT! Thank you!
