I absolutely LOVE this recipe!! I’ve made it about 10 times now and I just cannot get enough. I also sometimes like to make the strawberry sauce and let it cool, then mix it in with the cream cheese filling before I stuff the egg roll wrappers. DELICIOUS!!

I made these and when frying the rolls, the cheesecake started oozing out a bit and I wrapped these really well so I don’t get what I did wrong.  Also when I turned them over, the wrap was so thin it punctured :(
Great recipe though!

making these today with a mixed berry compote.   Filling tastes very rich and well balanced.

These Dessert Egg Rolls Are Seriously Delicious

Crispy on the outside and stuffed with a tasty mix of ground chicken and slaw that&rsquo;s been seasoned with McCormick&reg; All Purpose Himalayan Pink Salt with Black Pepper &amp; Garlic Seasoning and a touch of Ground Ginger, these homemade air fryer egg rolls are the real deal.

Air Fryer Chicken Egg Rolls

tbsp oil

chicken

(14 to 16 ounces) coleslaw mix

onions

tbsps less sodium soy sauce

tsps all purpose seasoning black pepper garlic pink sea salt

tsps ginger ground

egg roll wrappers

sweet red chili sauce

step 1

Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add ground chicken; cook and stir 3 minutes or until no longer pink. Add coleslaw mix and green onions; cook and stir 3 minutes or until cabbage is wilted. Add soy sauce, Seasoning and ginger; cook and stir 2 minutes. Place mixture in colander or strainer, pressing to drain excess liquid from mixture.  

step 2

Place eggroll wrappers on work surface with points facing up and down, like a diamond. Place 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture in center of egg roll wrapper. Brush top edge of the wrapper with water. Fold bottom edge of wrapper over filling, then fold in both sides of wrapper. Roll tightly from bottom to top, pressing top edge down to seal egg roll.  Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Spray air fryer basket with no stick cooking spray. Preheat air fryer on 400°F for 3 minutes.  Place egg rolls in single layer in basket; do not overcrowd. Spray egg rolls with no stick cooking spray. Air fry 5 minutes. Turn egg rolls and spray with no stick cooking spray. Fry 5 minutes longer or until egg rolls are lightly browned and heated through. Repeat with remaining egg rolls. Serve egg rolls with Sweet Red Chili Sauce for dipping.

Vietnamese Egg Rolls are marinated ground pork rolled in wheat wrappers and deep-fried. It can be eaten as a main dish with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce or as a component to a main dish. This recipe is a basic traditional recipe of ground pork, minced woodear mushroom and thin rice vermicelli noodles.

Menlo All Purpose Wrappers or TYJ Spring Roll Pastry Wrappers

Vietnamese Fish sauce dipping sauce (Nuoc Mam Cham)

A creamy, cheesy, and spicy buffalo chicken filling wrapped in a crispy wonton. These air fryer buffalo chicken wontons are quick and easy.

Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Wontons

cream cheese (softened)

hot sauce (like Frank's Red Hot)

blue cheese

monterey jack cheese

wonton wrappers

olive oil spray

Mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, hot sauce, blue cheese, Monterey jack, and green onions in a medium-sized bowl.  Stir until the mixture is well combined.

Separate the wontons, then place one wrapper in front of you on the counter or a cutting board.

Place approximately one tablespoon of the filling in the middle of the wrapper, then dip your finger in the water dish and moisten the wrapper&#39;s edges.

Fold one half of the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle, then gently press the edges together to seal them.

Fold the two points of the long edge of the triangle over the filling to meet in the middle and press them together.  You will have a little pillow, sort of resembling an envelope.

Place the prepared wontons in a single layer in your air fryer basket, and then give them a generous spray of olive oil.

Set the air fryer to 380° and cook the wontons for 7-10 minutes until crispy and golden, turning halfway through.

Serve garnished with additional crumbled blue cheese or sliced green onion with dishes of blue cheese dip, hot sauce, or ranch, if desired.

Sometimes called spring rolls, other times called egg rolls, chả giò is a popular Vietnamese appetizer of bite-size crispy goodness. You've probably seen them in Vietnamese restaurants. Now try to make them at home!

oz dried bean thread vermicelli noodles

fish sauce dipping sauce (Nuoc Mam Cham)

Prepare the dried ingredients

In a medium bowl, rehydrate dried wood ear mushroom and bean thread vermicelli/cellophane noodles in hot water for 10 minutes or until softened. Remove from water and finely mince. Set aside.

Prepare the pork filling

In a medium bowl, mix together ground pork, wood ear mushroom, vermicelli noodles, green onions, white/yellow onion, sugar, black pepper, sesame oil, salt, oyster sauce, and chicken bouillon powder. Set aside.

Prepare the wrappers

Thaw out the egg roll wrappers if frozen. Separate into individual sheets by pulling them apart slowly to prevent tearing.

Assemble

Place about 2 tablespoons of filling at the bottom corner of the wrapper, then slowly start to roll it up. When you reach the halfway point, fold in the two sides, and continue rolling until nearly complete. Brush the top edge with beaten egg, then finish rolling up to seal. Deep fry

In a wok or tall skillet, heat vegetable oil to 325°F. Fry in small batches for 5 minutes or until egg rolls are golden brown. Make sure they do not touch to prevent them from sticking together. Transfer egg rolls onto a wire rack to drain off excess oil.

Serve

Enjoy with Vietnamese Fish sauce dipping sauce (Nuoc Mam Cham). You can also wrap the egg roll with lettuce and assorted Vietnamese herbs such as sorrel (rau chua), fish mint (diep ca), Vietnamese coriander (rau ram), and perilla (tia to). Leftover egg rolls can be frozen and deep-fried straight from the freezer. Frozen egg rolls take about 10 minutes to cook.

This is the best Vietnamese egg roll recipe! My mom uses oyster sauce in her recipe too but she never writes down measurements so it’s been hard for me to make it on my own. Thank you so much for the recipe. I made a batch tonight and I think your recipe is even better than my mom’s.
