Red Pepper Fettuccine with Shrimp! It's got quick, pan-fried shrimp, creamy noodles, and red pepper / garlic / butter / lemon-ish sauce vibes. Perfect quick and easy dinner!

Red Pepper Fettuccine with Shrimp 

softened, unsalted butter (we ♡ Land O Lakes® Butter!)

garlic

juice and zest of 1 lemon

herbs (see notes)

chili powder

cayenne pepper

salt

shrimp

fettuccine

heavy whipping cream

pasta water (or regular water if you forget)

greens, lemons, and salt

Red Pepper Butter

Pulse all the butter ingredients in a food process until mostly smooth. Refrigerate or set aside. (You&#8217;ll have A LOT of butter and you&#8217;ll only need a few tablespoons for this recipe. Keep the extras in the freezer for more of this, or similar recipes, in the future!)

Fettuccine

Cook the fettuccine according to package directions. Add pasta back to warm pot and toss with 2-3 tablespoons red pepper garlic butter, cream, and water. Adding reserved water as needed to thin out the sauce.

Shrimp

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of the red pepper garlic butter. Once the butter is melted, add shrimp and saute for a few minutes on each side until cooked through. To make it look creamy, add 1-2 tablespoons of the red pepper butter with a quick splash of cream to the hot pan and toss to combine.

Serve

 Divide the pasta and shrimp among 3-4 plates. Enjoy!

Use Almond milk

So we made this and followed the recipe. I made my dish first following the recipe and found it kind of lacked flavour, I even added way more tablespoons that reccomended. My mom made hers next, added some garlic salt and clubhouse roasted red pepper &amp; garlic spice and than cooked it in a pan for a small amount of time and it gave WAY more flavour. When you say garlic cloves, do you roast them in the oven first? Maybe that should be specified. We did not, but roasting them and letting them become soft makes more flavour.

Just made this using vegan butter, and added a little turmeric and four sigmatic  superfood blend 10 mushroom blend. And the shrimp... so it’s just kinda  healthy  — thank you Lindsey, I’ll be using this butter in everything!! Might I ask how you freezed them?

This was delish!  Probably not too healthy but who cares!

I used my blender because my food processor was too small. To help the mixture along I added olive oil. It worked great and tasted amazing!

I roasted my own peppers when I made this and it was SO good! I just broiled  them in the oven for a while as I prepared the rest of the meal.

Red Pepper Fettuccine with Shrimp

Easy single serving Shrimp Fettuccine that cooks in just 20 minutes! Shrimp cooked in garlic, then tossed with buttery fettuccine.

Shrimp Fettuccine For One

dry fettuccine ((about 1 cup cooked))

salted butter

garlic (, minced)

red chili pepper flakes ((use less if you don't want the shrimp to be too spicy))

shrimp (, peeled and deveined (4-ounces))

olive oil (, divided)

Parmesan cheese (,

Fill a medium-sized pot with water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the fettuccine to the boiling water and cook until the pasta is tender, about 8 minutes. Drain in a colander and transfer the pasta to a bowl. Toss with ½ tablespoon of olive oil so the fettuccine noodles don&#39;t stick together and set it aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. When the butter has melted, add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes and cook, stirring occasionally for 30 seconds.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle ⅛ of a teaspoon of salt over the shrimp. Cook for 1-2 minutes on one side and with a fork, flip the shrimp over and cook the other side for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and opaque. Remove the skillet from heat.

Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and top with ½ tablespoon of olive oil.  Toss to combine.  Transfer to a plate or a bowl and top with Parmesan cheese.

Alfredo Sauce For One

Stir the cream and the lemon juice in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat to blend. Add the butter and stir gently until the butter melts. After the butter has melted, lower the heat to medium-low and whisk constantly until the mixture begins to thicken, about 8 minutes.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and nutmeg, and continue to stir or whisk until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened even more, about 3 minutes.

Remove from the heat and toss with cooked pasta or add to cooked chicken or shrimp.Pro Tip: The sauce will continue to thicken as it sits. Taste and add ⅛ teaspoon of salt if necessary.
