This tender salmon sandwich uses fresh salmon filets cooked on the Blackstone griddle!

Blackstone Salmon Sandwich

salmon filets, sandwich-sized

olive oil

Midnight Toker Rub*

salt

toasted buns

baby arugala

mayonnaise

lemon zest

Mix together all of the dill mayo ingredients...

Mix together all of the dill mayo ingredients and place them into the fridge.Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat.

Brush each salmon filet with olive oil, and...

Place the fillets on the griddle and cook...

Place the fillets on the griddle and cook until the internal temperature reaches 130°-135°, or until it reaches the temp that you prefer. Toast the buns.

Remove the filets from the griddle and let sit for 5 minutes.

Spread some of the aioli on the toasted...

Spread some of the aioli on the toasted buns, top with salmon filet, lettuce, and the other bun, and serve hot!

Copycat McDonald&#8217;s Fish Filet Sandwich Recipe

mahi-mahi fillets

tbsp all-purpose flour

breadcrumbs

vegetable oil

tbsp yellow onion

sweet pickle relish

tbsp milk

heavy cream

tsp parsley

capers

sugar

Salt & ground pepper

hamburger buns

American cheese

Step 1.1

Combine all the tartar sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix until well-combined.

Step 1.2

Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste &amp; adjust accordingly. Mix well and set aside.

Step 2.1

Heat up your oil in a deep skillet for frying.

Step 2.2

Brush the fillets with lemon juice, then season with salt &amp; pepper all over. Allow it to marinate for 5 minutes.

Step 2.3

While waiting, beat the egg whites in a bowl until they are foamy.

Step 2.4

Season with salt &amp; pepper, &amp; add the flour. Fold until evenly incorporated, forming a batter. You may need to add water for this.

Step 2.5

Dip your fish into the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.

Step 2.6

Place into the frying pan after the fish is coated. Deep fry until golden brown and repeat until all fillets have been fried.

Step 3.1

Slice the sandwich bun in half and toast briefly. Spread the tartar sauce on both sides of the bun.

Place the fish fillet in-between, followed by the American cheese then seal sandwich.

Step 3.3

Serve with roughly 3 ounces of fries per serving.

2 egg whites

5 cups vegetable oil for frying

Tartar Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp yellow onion, minced
¼ cup sweet pickle relish
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp heavy cream
2 tsp parsley, chopped
2 tbsp capers, minced
½ tsp lemon juice
⅛ tsp granulated sugar
Salt & ground black pepper to taste

Sandwich:
4 hamburger buns
4 slices American cheese

To serve:
Potato fries
