Learn how to easily carve a strawberry into a rose! Perfect garnish idea for ice cream, cupcakes, fruit platters and dipping!

How To Make Easy Rose Strawberries

Large Strawberries (with pointed tips and leaves, washed and dried)

Wooden skewer (to hold strawberry)

Pairing knife

Insert the skewer into the bottom of the strawberry (where the leaves are)

With the pointed end of the strawberry upwards, you are ready to start carving!

Starting at the bottom, make a small slit but do not cut all the way through.

Use your knife to very gently curl the tip of the "petal" by pressing it back.

This is your first petal!

Repeat on the other 3 sides of the strawberry until you have four "petals" at the base of the strawberry.

Now let's make another row!

Starting above the row you just made, between two petals, make another slit.

Curl the petal back gently.

Repeat on the other 3 sides of the strawberry.

To finish the rose, make a slit down the tip and press back gently to curl the tips.

Stuffed zucchini flowers with tomato salsa

(1 cup) plain flour

milliliters soda water

sea salt

olive oil

brown onion, finely chopped

garlic clove, crushed

breadcrumbs

bocconcini, chopped

black olives, pitted, chopped

tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

lemon rind

zucchini flowers (see Notes)

Vegetable oil, to fry

vine-ripened tomatoes, seeded, chopped

red onion, finely chopped

lemon juice

Plain scones

tsp Baking powder

flour

Salt

Tbsp Sugar

g Butter, (or 50 grams)

Milk

Preheat oven to 200C. Position oven rack in top third of oven. Prepare oven tray by either lightly greasing or dusting with flour.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl and stir in sugar.

Put butter in a measuring cup and melt in microwave. Add milk to make up to the 1 cup measure.

Tip into dry ingredients and quickly stir to combine to get a soft, slightly tacky dough. It may be necessary to add a little more milk.

Turn onto a lightly floured surface and draw together to form an even block. Pat out to about 2-2 ½ cm thick piece. Flour the knife and cut into even-sized scones.

Place close together on prepared tray. Bake about 12 minutes until risen and golden. Remove from tray onto a wire rack or into a cloth.

Coarsely ground dried herbs (hemp flower)

Use coarsely ground, decarbed flower and pack it into the LĒVO pod. Make sure that it is not ground too finely, or bits of herb might seep into your infusion.

Place the LĒVO herb pod into the reservoir or basin.

Pour in enough oil to cover the herb inside the herb pods. Close the lid or set the basin on the machine.

Set your LĒVO to 165-180°F and infuse for 3-5 hours. The time and temperature calculator can be used to make sure this part of the process is precise.

Pour the infusion into an airtight container while the coconut oil is still warm. We recommend using a glass jar that can be reused. The Herb Press should be used to help with efficient dispensing.

The coconut infusion can easily be stored in your pantry. For maximum freshness, we recommend keeping your infusions organized and accessible by keeping them in freezer-safe herb blocks.

If using LĒVO Gummy Mix, follow the bag instructions.To melt the gummy bears in the microwave: microwave the bears in 20-30 second intervals, stirring  between each heat cycle. To melt the bears on the stovetop, add to a pot and stir on low heat until melted. You can add a couple drops of water, too. 

Once the bears are melted, turn off the heat and add 4 tablespoons of infused oil. Mix thoroughly for about 10 minutes to ensure the oil and gummy mix doesn’t separate when cooled. (If they do separate, you can always melt gummies back down and try again!)

Pour the gummy liquid into a squirt bottle, use included gummy droppers, or a turkey baster to create the ropes. 

Use a silicone rope mold or create troughs by accordian-folding sheets of wax paper. Each trough should be filled with some of the Nerd candies as the first layer. (You can also use our LĒVO Herb Block tray to make Nerd Blocks.)

Next, use the squirt bottle to pour the liquid gummy mixture into the molds or troughs in a straight line.

Coat the gummy mixture with another layer of Nerds and continue to add desired layers of gummy bear mixture and nerds to the molds or troughs.

Allow the ropes to sit overnight or for at least 4 hours in the fridge, and enjoy!

Pour in two containers of your pie filling and spread across bottom evenly

Dollop

Dollop the pre-made cheesecake filling in approximately 1 tbsp scoops across top (optional)

Place slices of cannabutter across the cake like a grid until it is all covered

Sprinkle

Bake

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes - 1.5hrs depending on your oven or until top is brown and mix is bubbling
